  1. So this is a fairly typical issue with hot tunes. the ecm is overracting at cruise. It is not a timing issue, keep fueling at %100 or near %100 in your tune until you are above your typically cruising psi.
  2. is this a fast surge or a slow on and off?
  3. define surge
  4. working for me, odd.
  5. I used it numerous times with 2.7 As for the error I dont know you will have to see if @Carbur8tr has time to look.
  6. If firepunk is local there is no reason not to use them. They are good builders. Nothing at all against Jon, but distance should control builder, IF you have a good one around you. Stuff happens, being able to drive / tow the truck to the builder is worth it's weight in gold.
  7. use the tune builder to open the file and look at it then mod it to work for you
  8. https://mopar1973man.com/files/category/22-quadzilla-standard-tunes/ economy can be hand with any tune.
  9. sure sounds like a stuck timing piston in the vp
  10. Any codes? white smoke and running issues is likely to be the pump, but I would like to see a p0216 code with that.
  11. well I am willing to bet the bucking is related to the cam code. Clear it go for a drive, does it come back?
  12. go ahead and order one of the same color
  13. Waiting for enough trucks of the same color to get ordered so they can schedule.
  14. Still BG status.
  15. Cheaper today, Much MUCH MUCH more expensive down the road
  16. not sure, something in the PCM mystery box. Does the converter lock at all if it thinks it is in N?
  17. they don't. The communication between the pcm and ecm isn't that good. our trucks unlock the converter for shifting to handle the issue.
  18. there were numerous revisions to make the pump more robust. Timing piston sleeve made harder, better solder used, improved internal design in the diaphram. However ain't broken dont fix it.
  19. the map is based on Boost and tps input. 0-10 psi and 0-100 tps. WOT and 0 psi gives you %100 of the pull defined by the variables. If boost is above ~5 psi then you have to be pretty heavy in the throttle for the pull to have much effect. At 0 psi you will get a significant amount of pull above ~%30 throttle.
  20. @Dieselfuture my truck wasn't plagued with TM lol
  21. humm @kzimmer you able to reproduce with your truck?
  22. Is your switch a 3 wire switch on the trans?
  23. interesting, TM might not be considered when the pcm thinks it is in park.
  24. I would start with obd and try to see if any codes are there. I dont remember your setup, but do you have the 02 ecm with auto flash or manual flash?
  25. it's perfectly safe to run.
