High Idle Switch install
the leds will be drawing power if you power then from an always hot source. If the LEDs are not connected then no, there will be no draw.

Making a choice on Tires for tow duty
well threadwright sent a new tire after seeing the pictures. Finally got time to mount them and get them on. The 3rd gen rims sure do look good.

2002 Dodge cummins programmer
If you want something that does all of those things in one then you want the Smarty Touch. I am really not a fan of the built in programming but you can use UDC pro / get a tuner to build you a tune, but that starts to get very pricey. The Smarty Touch tuning will limit you to ~65hp over stock. A quadzilla or edge will get you 3x that power.

Quadzilla install question
It's just a sensor for you, the quadzilla doesn't care

24v getting shitty fuel mileage!
as long as you keep timing in the 19* +-1* at 55-75 you will get good mpg.

Quadzilla install question
Did you order it with a fuel pressure sensor kit? That lead runs to the extra sensor. If you didn't get the extra fuel pressure sensor you can buy one from them, or get a generic 0-100 psi 0-5v sender from Amazon etc.

BUG - Quadzilla high idle while rolling
thsi one I am pretty proud of this. The offidle handoff is VERY hard to feel now. I can feel it by brake boosting, but not on the street. It has rpm based fueling smoothing and TPS based fueling smoothing in the near idle situtations. I know how much you like flashing, but I updated it again

Switched to Quadzilla iQuad!
There is the beta app in the Downloads section that has a status bar that pops up when you load tunes, really nice. @Quadzilla Power any idea when the beta app will be pushed for release?

Custom Quadzilla Tuning R & D Thread
Give me a 5/6 speed anyday. I dont need to go 0-100 fast, a good 3rd gear pull is enough for me. The auto gearing is just too wide for my taste while towing. towing up the pass ( 35 mph speed limit) sucks. little to low in 3rd and screaming in 2nd. I dont need the power I have in 2nd.

24v getting shitty fuel mileage!
Use the tuning to control your injectors. Go bigger than smaller, MPG is a result of your right foot and your tuning. I am running 7 x .012's on a he351ve and still topping 20 mpg highway pretty easy. so 7 x .010's are too small for a 62 in my mind.

24v getting shitty fuel mileage!
It's not hard the tuning is easy to get started with. Biggest perk is it offers you the ablity to control timing and fueling.

24v getting shitty fuel mileage!
If you have Iquad you should update to V2 tuning. If you don't then run aroudn on highest level, that will get timing high enough to get good mpg. I am betting your timing is sitting at ~14* while at cruise, it needs to be at ~20*

BUG - Quadzilla high idle while rolling
alright I tested it and the issue is fix, The version I uploaded ~1 hour ago had some beta code that cases a lope at 1200 rpm. I reuploaded with the beta code commented out. Go ahead and redownload and you should be good.

Custom Quadzilla Tuning R & D Thread
oh, yea nope can't do that either. the ecm gets VERY mad if you mess with fueling vs rpm. the ecm goes into a runaway mode protection and shuts off.

BUG - Quadzilla high idle while rolling
UGH! needed an Or rather than an And when I was looking for speed or tps input to cancel Try again when you get a chance.

Custom Quadzilla Tuning R & D Thread
no, manual trucks cannot apply load to the engine at idle without slipping the clutch. Without a load to apply the engine cannot build boost

the 2.7 code would be replaced with 2.7+staging But again this code is a race only type of thing. Using the staging function will cause unbelievable stress to the drive train

Custom Quadzilla Tuning R & D Thread
It's a difference base flash. so the box under the hood gets a different flash, with 1 line of code changed to use the bosot defuel for staging rather than overall limit
