New 7x10 injectors max fueling question
Your tune is starting way to low for those injectors. I might ask DAP to go over the injectors again. I know @dodgeih was fighting similar issues and the injectors, not dap in this case, where to blame. It could be that something is up with your set. It happens. The gearing doesn't help but you should be able to tune it smoke free, it would be a pig, but it would be smoke free.

New 7x10 injectors max fueling question
That's about what my truck likes for timing with the 7 x .012's def on the upper end.

Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
Yes, I let off earlier on the 330 bar run because I was already ~30 mph over the posted speed and boost was at ~30, I held longer on the 305 run because boost was still struggling.

Because, Roadkill. If you like wrenching for the sake of wrenching, come on in.
Well stubby bob is back in all his glory

Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
330 vs 305 luggd 40 mph pull. I went out again and ran another lugged test because I was not happy with the differences in conditions, the one from this morning I started at 37 mph vs the 330 bar I started at 41 mph. so I redid it. Now this log is VERY telling. My butt dyno told me the 330 bar injectors resulted in significantly more under the curve power, but I thought it might have been in my mind. Now I am sure of it. Look at the Boost lines you can see the 330 bar injectors seem to build boost better. Even at the start you can see boost is building faster.

Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
330 vs 305 bar 0-60 So results between the tests, Both tests were WOT snap from a standstill, same stretch of road, and ambient temps within ~5*f of each other. Note the area RIGHT offidle where the Quadzilla has not taken over yet, pretty significant pull in fuel. It looks like the 330 bar injectors got the truck moving a little faster off the line, then nearly identical the rest of the run. The logs are a little delayed ( as you can see by the steps in mph) but when we look at the 59 - 60 mph that I marked, the 330 bar got to that point ~.5 seconds faster. I am not going to say that the truck actually did a faster 0-60 with the 330 bar vs the 305 bar, but I will say I dont see a noticeable difference. When I look at where the log jumps for MPH in each case I see VERY similar results at nearly the same point across a wide area of the log. The lines seem to chase each other and over take at various points suggesting that the runs were very similar. One thing I do find interesting is the EGT's are higher for nearly the entire run with the 330 bar suggesting that timing may be a touch retarded, causing more heat to hit the turbine. Most notiable is the EGT's right off idle. That might be why the butt dyno tells me that the turbo lights faster with the 330 bar injectors when in passing situtations. More to come

New 7x10 injectors max fueling question
you are running a lot of fuel for the hx35, that's why you have high EGTS. I would drop wiretap down from 1600 to 1200

Version 2.7 final
lol setting boost offset will do nothing.
-
Version 2.7 final
the new flash does not have the code enabled in it.
-
Version 2.7 final
boost offset is no longer. just ignore the setting.
-
Version 2.7 final
mpg is still in beta so that is the v2 quadzilla only profile. Either profile will work, but the public profile doesnt have the mpg stuff yet.

Bucking in 4th and steady state 40 mph
What load % do you cruise at moving down the road at your typical "cruise" state
-
Custom Quadzilla Tuning R & D Thread
might wanna grab the updated tune I built, even less fuel. lol keep wiretap off.

High idle harness
The resistors are small and on the PCB board around the switch itself. PITA to soldier. a secondary hole is to be used if you want to see the LED. people wanted the LEDS so we built them in. but I am with you, I dont use the LED.

Bucking in 4th and steady state 40 mph
@Mopar1973Man is getting the hang of thing tuning wise haha. Mike hit the nail on the head, you were in cruise timing rather than performance timing that caused too much timing in that situtation. What load % are you at when you hear it now? above or below the ligh tthrottle limit

Making a choice on Tires for tow duty
Well one of the 4 has a sidewall leak causing a bubble that was spotted before installing on the truck. The other 3 look good. We will see what treadwright says.,

Bucking in 4th and steady state 40 mph
what boost level does this happen at? I dont think it is timing related, likely fueling or lash related. Does it buck on the default tune? Does it buck on lvl 3 vs lvl 5?
-
Bucking in 4th and steady state 40 mph
Bucking might also be related to your fueling curve being to lazy.

Custom Quadzilla Tuning R & D Thread
well I adjust the tune down to have a max of %92 and updated. Wiretap is what did it though,

Here's the fueling curve, very mild lol. did you have wiretap on? how much boost did you see, egts? as for the he351ve I am a really big fan of it.
