  1. There are numerous guys in your area with an S03 that can enable high idle
  2. make your 3k timing settings 27* and your max 30* You cna try adding %5-%10 across the board, that should solve the shift issue, but you are really limiting the resolution of your throttle pedal.
  3. mpg works regardless of what the ecm functions are. The mpg mode just fools the ecm into thinking it is summer thus getting you in the area of the timing maps for best MPG.
  4. We dont get trans tuning, nor will we have it ever, as that is part of the PCM and not the ECM for us. The PCM will never be open to tuning lol. I am guessing the early cr trucks use a PCM as well, which is why there is no trans tuning for them either. The quadzilla will indirectly allow this shift to happen sooner if you increasing your fueling % in that boost range. Increasing the % of fueling at a given PSI will make it so you need less tps movement to move down the road at the same conditions as before. IE if you are at cruise at 3 psi and you increase your 3 psi fueling % by 2-5% then you will notice earlier shifts during those conditions. This will however result in overfueling in some situtations. My guess is you wil fix the shifting issue and break something else. It might be worth it, it might not. You could also try bigger injectors, that iwll have the same effect as increasing your fueling via tuning.
  5. What is the tune you are running on the Quadzilla, that will indirectly effect when the trans shifts based on how much TPS input you are moving at a given condition. Your large tires are creating excess load resulting in heavier throttle, which results in more TPS to move down the road and later shift points. Making your tune more aggressive will help, but it is a bandaid fix rather than a solution.
  6. Sounds like you need to enable the ecm high idle function. The dealer can do this or a smarty s03 can do it. Once that is enabled then you will see a ramp up in idle rpm if conditions are met. The high idle switch let's you fool that function whenever. It will take ~2 minutes of idleing for the high idle to fully kick in. We liked the tab to the install directions and that ad.
  7. Sorry but I dont understand what you are saying. does the code come back after you clear it? Or does the truck not high idle? @Mopar1973Man did he get the switch through you?
  8. Did you buy the switch through the site? Can you drive to a parts store and borrow their code scanner? you really need to clear the codes and see if they come back. We see a TON of guys saying they have CEL's after install because the ecm didn't like it when they unplugged the stock sensors to plug in the harness. The engine will "blip" when you switch between modes as the ecm commands different fueling for different IAT and ECT's. I am not really clear on if you actually have an issue or not at this point.
  9. What codes? Did you clear codes after installing the switch? Disconnecting the IAT and ECT sensors while the truck has power can trip codes. Please tell us what IAT and ECT read in each setting Off: ect = Iat = MPG: ect = Iat = 6 cyl: ect = Iat = 3 Cyl: ect = Iat = Also how are you selecting the different modes?
  10. No, you can connect the 12v if you want the LED's to work. Beyond that it has no effect on operation. see the install manual under the power lead section
  11. just the v2 1998-2002 thats the public profile.
  12. easy way to know if you have a vaccuum leak is if the vents switch or not. If you have a vaccuum leak it will be on defrost no matter what
  13. doubt it will work, you will just blow apart the junctions. It's a vacuum system not a pressure system
  14. Ac delco pro is raybestso I think rock auto has them as acdelco pro
  15. you might have water in the lines that froze causing the actuator to not get vacuum.
  16. Have you run another tank through it yet? rule out a bad batch of fuel?
  17. My dana ones lasted ~50k, I am now using rayebestos pro joints. Still very tight.
  18. V2 tuning V1 Tuning
  19. Do you want v2 tuning? If so otherwise if you want to keep running the older v1 tunes just select the 1.9 profile.
  20. you dont have V2 tunes loaded on the box under the hood. You need to flash the v2 tune or use the version 1.9 vehicle profile. that's why you are having issues with the tune loading and why the tune doesn't changce.
  21. Nope it is literally the quadzilla being 1 piston behind thinking it needs to fuel some.
  22. Open the app wihtout connecting to the truck, go into the custom tune menu, select default tune. Exit the app, go back in. Try to connect to the truck now. Once it connects tell us what it reports in the build date field.
  23. you know what it is, it's the check in place to decide to fuel or not, If rpms are above 1200 the quadzilla may trigger.fueling. this is in place to allow timing adjustment nad fueling adjustment for trucks with Fly by wire CC. I can fix it if it is a big enough issue to warrant.
  24. he is. the can fuel ing message is disabled at idle though, unless quadzilla high idle is active. maybe tps is flicking on and off?
