  1. The 0-60 run of the 350 bar is up. And they are squeaky clean, however as @jlbayeswas guessing the resulting 0-60 time is ~.5 seconds slower. However I am ok with that, I think these injectors will settle down to ~340 bar in a few weeks and it will be about right. You will also note that EGT's are higher with the 350 bar, which is what @kzimmer found as well. Looking at boost I might wanna check for a boost leak I guess haha. I'll do that this week at some point and rerun the test if I find any. However if we look at the idle stuff below you can see the loss in fueling as a result of higher pop. I will say there is a defined lul right off idle now. Next is the idle compare, ignore the difference section I did not recreate it. 350 bar = green330 = white and 305 = orange. -Again here I see about a %5 lose in fueling if we compare fueling commands at idle from the 350 bar vs the 330 bar -EGT's are up as well. -note the ave/min/max section showing a significantly worse idle than the 330 bar.
  2. If you want to keep your ecm and pcm then you will need to swap out the crank. The 99 ecm and pcm are expecting cam and crank readings. Destroked might make a sensor kit for you, but honestly I would sell the 01 engine and get a 98.5-00 engine. I dont like tearing into 2 engines to make 1 work.
  3. well then I am going to say it is the nature of the beast and you are letting off too fast at high boost.
  4. Datalog the event with the Quadzilla. Export and link it.
  5. You say "letting off slowly" How slowly?
  6. when this happens you are at peak power like that?
  7. I would for peace of mind, but I dont know if that is actually need. It can't hurt.
  8. It will work fine without service. I dont recommned an I device though. When it comes time to replace it due to x y z then you will pay much more compared to an old andriod device. Also consider that Ios requires the wifi iquad and the andriod uses bluetooth. Wifi does connect a little faster, but it does require you manage you WIFI networks if you want to datalog export / import into the app. Where as the bluetooth setup you dont have to worry about multiple wifi networks etc. The Andriod datalogs are also better when it comes to timestamps. It is a difference in terms of how the OS allows writing to csv. IOS is much more picky about how things work so features tend to be delayed. andriod is much more open to allowing different apps to interface with the iquad app. Due to that I always recommend the andriod / bluetooth iquad setup.
  9. I would suggest an edge ez or quad zxt and some 7 x .009's. I am much bigger fan of the timing maps on those units compared to the S03
  10. Where abouts in Nothern MN? From International Falls myself, welcome to the forum
  11. Doesn't matter where you get it. We have it here in the store. Samsung devices don't like the tune import function beyond that they work fine. I always suggest a dedicated device that runs the app 24/7 this will make you a lot happier than having ot start the app then connect etc etc. It comes with everything other than fuel pressure sensor, but you can add that at checkout. You can export datalogs and tunes via any method the phone will allow. I use google drive, others use email. Itunes is not required.
  12. no clue, It prob isn't as timing aggressive up top and might be a bit lazier down low. However you have a few pre-built tunes like the race tune or tow tune.
  13. 350 bar injectors are in an WOW is all I can say. When comparing the 305 bar to 350 bar I could EASILY run a tune starting %5 higher with the 350 bar injectors and still have significantly less smoke. Updating the first post now.
  14. Very hard. Touch as in too little or too much fuel? What rpm and what throttle is it touchy? I am still working on getting the map right for the office handoff but I think this is better
  15. Try this flash. It has some smoothing in place and a fix for the overfueling you are seeing beyond 3100. ( this only disables the hard fueling if the 30 psi setting is sub %100) adr277final.exe
  16. yea, hard for me to code since I can't personally test the results.
  17. Just trying to help manual trucks not surge under 1200 rpm when the tune starts in the sub %70 area
  18. Yes, working on something else for the tune before release.
  19. Don't remember where I found it anymore, No clue.
  20. I would go used. Holset turbos are tough, rebuild kits are cheap. Your EGTS will depend on your tuning, I am running 7 x .012's on a he351ve ( same 60 mm inducer as the he351cw) and have zero egt issues.
  21. If you have an infinity headunit this write-up wont work for you. You will need to find the writeup for the infinity head unit. I didn't just soldier to the back pins, I spliced the wires into the tuner output to the amp, then used the 1/8" headphone jack to complete the radio if the jack is unused. If you don't cut the pcd leads then you will get audio from the radio and form the aux input.
  22. I like vco nozzles. There are some changes needed, it is not drop in. he351cw is a holset turbo from a 3rd gen cr 5.9 truck. Downpipe, hot pipe, and flab up a wastegate bracket. for the price a he351cw can be had you really can't beat it. it moves ~65 lb/min of air and spools faster than most other turbos out there.
  23. A he351cw + some 7 x .010's is a REALLY hard combo to beat. Throw some tuning on it and you will be in good shape.
  24. Whats your engine load moving down the road? I would guess it is above %15 and less than %30. If you set your light throttle load limit to %15 then when you move down the road at load amounts higher than %15 light throttle timing is not applied.
  25. both I believe. Terrible running injectors that could not be cleaned up regardless of fuel adjustments. I will let him go into more details
