  1. what happened? I can't image that tune allowing for enough fuel to burn up an hx35.
  2. dimes to dollars that oring is torn.
  3. This sounds dumb but did you replace the orings? I fought leaky lines for ALONG time to find that the orings got tore on install.
  4. Stock bar 7 x .012's are in. this is very early in the testing process, but so far I miss the 330 bar injectors. I will need to review the logs and videos, but I feel like the idle is lopier, Offidle and transition smoke is up, and the turbo seems laggier now. @kzimmer I think you said your spool was improved with higher pop as well? Upper end power, 2600+ rpm seems like it might hold alittle longer. but I am really not sure on that. Honestly power wise I dont notice much difference. I couldn't say I gained 40 or even 20 hp. EGTS appear to be similar on WOT pulls before lockup. Anyways take that with a grain of salt as I have limited time with them so far. Full videos and logs will come Monday.
  5. at 330 bar my starts are considerably better than with the stock pop 7 x .009's. Tomorrow I should know if the stock bar is better or not for starting. There may be a limit to where that turns upside down though.
  6. 3rd, give your tc a break
  7. make sure you get a video or two of a WOT take off and a lugged 35 mph locked pull. pretty please
  8. the stock bar 7 x .012's are going in tomorrow after I get off work. then the 330's I have are going back to DAP and getting redone at 350 bar. I am gonna hate swapping injectors before too long
  9. for what it's worth Formula 1 uses them. good enough for them good enough for me.
  10. Yep we know it fuels more. this is how that "65 hp " limit comes about. Stock will command 3600 as a fueling command, but we are able to command up to 4095, which on a stock truck at ~3k rpm is ~65 more hp. what the psg on the vp44 does is convert that 0-4095 message into a 0-100% of duration on the fueling solenoid.
  11. you seen this thread correct? http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/94-98-performance-parts-discussion/2204338-d89-heinous-h-pump-hack.html
  12. Long answer If you look at OEM fueling at WOT you will find that the canbus command will reach ~3600 at ~2200 rpm then it starts to fall off up top. You will also note that at says %70 throttle canbus message will come up to ~3400 at 2200 rpm, then fall off quickly. So you really only need %114 of stock to hit that 4095, peak duration, at 2200 rpm but as oem fueling falls off you might want to hold it at max duration longer. This is why you use a higher %, say %130 up top will hold max fueling longer at a lower TPS input. Same goes for down low, maybe you want a more aggressive fueling curve with less tps input. Short Answer using higher than %120 allows the user to max fueling across a wider rpm band and broader TPS range
  13. great to hear. I would love to see some videos when you can.
  14. nature of the beast, if you let off of the throttle to fast you run the risk of stalling. Crack the lines crank and keep going.
  15. glad it is fixed. should be worlds smoother now
  16. heres the gearing spreadsheet
  17. My belief is if the truck knows you like it, then it will break because it rules the roost. If the truck thinks you dont care about it then it will work fine.
  18. It moves your map up to 13 psi at the starting point.
  19. Is the jumper inside the box set right for an 01 truck?
  20. Drop your 1500: timing setting from 17* to 15*
  21. I updated the flash last night with something that will fix your issue it should default to 12 psi offset, but I guess it didn't for you.
  22. what year was your friends truck? What base flash is on the box?
  23. What is the timing doing when this happens? what rpm when this happens? It may be too much timing,
