  1. yes tight = low stall loose = high stall. Well I can drive, tighten then housing, my VGT pretty hard, I don't generally do this as I don't have a driving style that supports needing to be on boost all the time. People that drive the truck always comment how fast it spools, but if it does or not no idea.
  2. RPM IE: exhaust flow is the best thing you can do to get a turbo going. If you have a tight stall converter then leaving the line you will not build as many RPMS, and thus have less exhaust flow to get a turbo going. A loose stall converter will allow for more revs off the line and a quicker light of the turbo. Personally I like my super low stall converter, but my VGT spools yesterday compared to bigger turbos. It really comes down to driving style and purpose of the vehicle. Drag racing and big turbos then you want higher stall in order to light the turbo.
  3. 1.That's odd I would give Timbo a call. 2. @Mopar1973Man whats the load ac limit? 3. TC lockup issues are %95 of the time related to AC noise.
  4. .1v is a fail .03v idle is border line. that's a noise filter, pull that bad boy off and put it in it's rightful home, the trash. Did you adjust your timbo apps?
  5. 2 codes linked to PCM issues is alittle concerning. Do you have a Stock Tranny? I am assuming you low boost fueling settings on the edge are turned up? Do you have a live data tool to verify what your sensors are showing at idle? Mainly boost sensor?
  6. me either, gonna need a better picture,
  7. I would guess the PO tried to adjust hte apps to get rid of TC lockup issues. I would check for AC noise first and foremost. Return wiring back to stock Then replace the apps as you have no idea what the PO did to it.
  8. %17 is what your ECM is seeing as being requested from the APPS
  9. It will tell you what the ECM is seeing from the sensors. that is invaluable. personally I recommend the obdlink mx but cheapo chinese tools work too.
  10. do you have a live data tool to look at what the ECM is reporting? They are stupid cheap on Ebay. Elm327 or similar
  11. you can run the Ios store version of the app, it has the same varibles you just don't get the equalizer. I am afraid I don't have any apple stuff to test with and I am IOS stupid so I can't help much beyond that.
  12. Might take some time on Lvl 0 and watch how OEM timing works. Might help you figure out what will work best for you.
  13. 2k revs on a tow tune I would do ~17* 2.5k revs on a tow tune I would do ~21*
  14. That depends on your rpm. What RPM are you towing at?
  15. I cut mine so that I could gain access to the starter without throwing a hissy fit.
  16. i'll let you tell my wife why I need a new trans
  17. Try to download again and see if maybe the file got corrupted.
  18. The basic obdII tool will do good work. Just foolow as close as possible
  19. I wouldn't that's asking for complete failure at the worst possible time
  20. verify none of your 5v reference sensors are shorting to ground.
  21. that's gonna vary, call around to machine shops.
  22. Pull the head off and have it checked to flatness and cracks. New gasket and stud time.
