  1. Man that's a big improvement Thanks a ton for the videos !! On your current tune how much snap throttle input can you use before you see smoke of any kind? You might also try playing with the timing reduction some. Rather than 3.5 try 1.5 does smoke get better or worse? Then try 4* and see what happens. Some guys are reporting less smoke with more timing and some are reporting less smoke with less timing... I dunno I just coded it lol. Do you feel it is possible to do a %100 clean tune if you ignore the lack of spool? IE an emissions tune? Looking at the Grahp, TPS = 0 so the ecm is asking for that ( odd). Mike struggled with this too and it ended up being tired injectors. Videos on youtube
  2. i'm not hte guy to talk to about that. I would call DAP and talk with them about turbo + injector goals
  3. either path will work just different drving styles.
  4. @jlbayes thoughts? 7 x .010's will be a coal train with a xzt and hx35 if you get on it. If you are light on the throttle no issue.
  5. 7 x .010's are roughly 150's + - 50 hp lol I'd say you are air limited to ~350 hp
  6. seeing as they put a nv5600 in the 03/04 trucks then I can't see why it wouldn't
  7. Well the downfall of the xzt is you can't control fueling. all flashes will make the exact same peak power, You need to choose if you are going to upgrade to the big boy quad. Even if you leave it untapped you will have WAY more control. you will at least be able to control smoke with the ADR In a perfect world I would do 62 sxe turbo 7 x .010 SAC injectors Quadzilla ADR untapped with canbus and timing tuning that should get you in the ~450 hp range
  8. First check your ground on the other side of the switch, is it good? Did you mod you VB to allow for 2nd gear lockup?
  9. He and I am bird of a feather....Our home built 47res have unicorn dust keeping them together. Ain't no stopping that.
  10. WAY cheaper to rebuild. your issue is likely something VERY simple. i'd try to R&R
  11. Same Nick..Well the coder formallly known as Nick Thanks a TON for those data logs back then bud. they really helped. I am pretty sure you can overwhelm TM now. If you still have issues with it.... let me know Interesting to hear your spool vs timing vs canbus fueling. I would love to see some videos out the back when you are driving hard. I know my truck is %100 clean on lug down and WOT snaps, but I have baby injectors.
  12. tell tail sign of the ecm memory doing hte way of the buffalo. The WTS light is the light to show that the ecm is turning on. Think of the WTS light as
  13. The difference between the V1 tunes and the V2 tunes is the V2 tunes read Map from the ecm until 16 psi. V1 tunes read PSI from the voltage of the sensor directly. Issue with that is there is not really smoothing place needed to make the V2 be smooth. So those drop out in the data log are literally the ECM sending 0 psi across the canbus. Something funky is going on in the map reading / ecm. The communication is like follows sub 16 psi also looking at the data log I see the same issue, I see %30 jumps in Map sensor readings wihtout change in load or TPS. example Lines 15 && 16 show 0 % tps and 6 psi boost. line 37 show 3 psi 0 tps. lines 100-134 show a %30 jump in map back and forth stable TPS.
  14. As long as you don't update the vehicle you are fine. Lol If you load the app on another device choose the year range vehicle profile. No pushing reason to change if you don't update the profile.
  15. Don't update the V2 Quadzilla-only profile. you will be confused.... Sadly yes you will have to retype your profiles. You can write them down or just not update the vehicle profile. I am hoping the tune export function of the app will come along shortly.
  16. Me either, but so far what I have learned when it comes to the VP44 generation trucks is that there is a TON of misleading information out there aimed at making a buck. I tend to be less of an optimist when it comes to this stuff now days.
  17. Their site now says "all bosch oem parts" I can't believe that bosch has different tolerance parts. I gotta call BS on it.
  18. I'd rather keep stuff visible so others can benifit from any issues / complaints / leanring
  19. Anyone still using the "V2 Quadzilla-ONLY" profile on the app should switch to the year range V2 profile now. I am doing some testing on unrelated stuff and have changed some stuff with the profile. If you update the profile you will be confused.
  20. If your starter solenoid is getting 12v when you hit the key to crank then the started is bad.
  21. No problem bud. I would guess bad connection / wiring OR a failing map sensor. Prob the map wiring to the ecm for shorts, ensure you have good ground and 5v signal. Since the older tunes don't do this I would expect your issue to be between the Quadzilla map output and the ecm.
