  1. This is why. I have been less than impressed with what I have seen from aftermarket housings like that. your money is much better spend on good lights. Add to it that those lights still use a halogen H7 bulb, so lumen output will be low compared to Xenons

  2. your awesome gritty vp44 pictures lol
  3. agree they would never know and even if they did they would not be able to say you did it lol
  4. If you watch what happens with OEM timing it becomes VERY obvious how important timing is to good MPG. As soon as you are able to get timing up where it needs to be for mpg then you get much better mpg. as soon as load increase beyond ~%25 then timing drops like a rock and your mpg does the same. If the tuner you use only adds timing on top of OEM you will see the same drop in timing as you get up beyond %25 load and mpg starts to fall Thats a huge perk of the Quadzilla's Cruise timing function. It allows you to set a "cruise only" timing map that is only active when you are at cruise state.
  5. Are you gonna post the images up Tyler?
  6. ooo got ya. lol My mistake.
  7. pretty sure this pump is going on Trevors truck
  8. the dana spicer joints from denny's were ok. I would say they were still acceptible, but not as tight as the AD delco pro's I put in.
  9. I guess the main question was the keyway. why are there various pn for the keyway? I can't possibly see the keyway having enough offset to really notice.
  10. So it runs with a swapped psg? I have always wondered. You now you have an ho pump with a so computer? Call it the cold rod pump?
  11. Also no 3rd gen brakes on an early front axle
  12. @c.englund Have you flashed the V2 tune hosted here yet? Have you updated the phone app to the one hosted here? Next set your Quad to lvl 1 and tune using valet mode setting. Figure out how much fuel you can use off the line to keep smoke down and power up. Once you have a good starting point come back with what your starting point is.
  13. thanks a ton for those.
  14. Me, I don't have a hand or insight into any of the app stuff. Ensure you click "report" when it happens. beyond that let Quadzilla know. I know they are right on the brink of an app update.
  15. Yea Mike's setup, tuning, and driving as been to dynamic to show results similar to the edge yet. 2 different situations. He has posted some very high mpg numbers still. When summer comes around I am sure his numbers will be eye opening. My highway travels have shown a very steady 24-25 mpg at 60-65 mph. Also keep in mind that most won't mess around with the tune as much as Mike does. My daily tune hasn't changed in a very long time. As for power the quad should put down more power. Mike said there was quite a difference when he switched.
  16. Flash your box with the most recent base flash that we have hosted. Follow the tuning guide in the v2 tuning article.
  17. I know you don't want to hear this, but.....Unless you are going to retrofit OEM led housings don't bother with LED headlights. Plug and play led bulbs are simply a waste of money. They don't put out advertised lumens and they don't throw light well. They tend to scatter light. If you want good lights then you need to retrofit projectors and xenon's aka hids.
  18. If you haven't gotten your computer setup to flash tunes gets I would. It's helpful if you want to try older tunes out. I really hope no one finds anymore bugs, ithink I am better at programming bugs than actaul code at this point. I have been running her pretty without issues so hopefully lol.
  19. That's a clean looking truck. Thanks for the support!
  20. Use the Quad to troubleshoot with, it will tell you whats coming out of the ECM. Datalog stuff and try to narrow down issues with the data coming out of the ecm. Things like boost are read directly from the ecm until ~16psi so if you are seeing weird things happen with boost at or near idle / driving slow and like a grandpa, then the ecm is telling you that there is an issue with the map sensor or the wiring for the map. The scope of what the Quadzilla does in it's tuning is nothing new by any means. The V2 tuning is only a user based way to change how much fueling the quadzilla alters the OEM by, but the rules of the "canbus world" are the same. The inputs and output sections of the code are over a decade old. Think of it as a house, we remodeled the interor but the mail man doesn't see any difference... he still delivers the mail to and from the post office the same way he always has. lol if that makes sense.
  21. If you are still able to adjust levels the app isn't Frozen. Sounds like a back connection at the canbus plug. The quad will keep the last valid value active on the screen so a frozen screen means it hasn't received an update from the ecm.
  22. Check the canbus plug under the hood. Sounds like either the ECM is not sending info or the quad is not receiving.
