  1. Worth the Watch
  2. You reading all the can stuff through the obd and the tablet?
  3. other way around the lift pump needs, the cp3/s3 should have 10ish psi, I think 11 was stock, but it is not near as important as the vp44. The vp44 uses positive pressure from the lift pump to help advance the timing piston, where as the cp3 has an internal pump and uses electronic injectors to modify timing etc.
  4. I have been needing a reason to run megasquirt or something similar..... If I am not using their code then there is no issue.
  5. ... I am looking to move up into your area Will, might be careful what you say I'll bring beer. should be what, 1 tank of of diesel to get up there? Made it to rushmore on 1/2 tank soooo
  6. That is how you know the the shop doesn't deal with older trucks. The oem pumps in the late 3rd and 4th gen trucks were great for their need, however not for ours. I have often wondered if we could retrofit a late model lift pump into our trucks.
  7. I really need to work on getting the quad software decompiled ( pretty much impossible) but everything PID wise we need to know ,timing included, in in there.
  8. what ed doesn't get a discount for bring a pig? But really I need to fix my front end. Got a welder
  9. who needs timing? ....so was that a yes to mopar197man fest????? Ill bring the beer, Ed can bring the pig, and we will eat drink and be merry.... and maybe fix my front end.
  10. yea I am curious, the IP must not have been too bad if he had the guts to drive it to your place haha. That picture got me to thinking......mopar1973man fest 2015???? I am sure we can fit 20 or 30 tents in your yard.
  11. Thanks for the link. I need to do this to my alternator.
  12. I am assuming that the Voltage of the vr sensor when the turbo is spinning at 100k is going to be pretty high, or at least high compared to what the Arduino can handle, correct?
  13. Well I have finally gotten some more time to work on this. however sadly I have forgotten almost everything I was working on. I never finished the speed sensor section of the code so I can looking into that more. Cowboy, Have you had a chance to do anything on your project that I can steal Anyways I hope to have the speed sensor working over the next couple days.
  14. I have had "new" solenoids that sat on the shelf before install that were bad out of the gate. I chased a similar issue for a month thinking to myself "solenoids were brand new so they are fine" and the issue ended up being the solenoids. As for chasing wirings get the wiring diagram out and start chasing wires.
  15. So looking at your revs vs mph I am guessing you are stuck in 2nd. I don't think your tranny is slipping though. I am guessing your tranny is stuck in 2nd and the TC is being worked hard to get the truck moving. It would feel very much like slipping, as that's what a tc does when it isn't locked, I am gonna throw out there that something in the wiring to the tranny is busted. Maybe bad solenoids? did the builder actually give you all new solenoids? I would break out the multimeter and start tracing the tranny wires from the computer the vb and make sure all of them are good.
  16. "Slips while driving" does it free rev when this happens? IE: jump from whatever ever rpm you were at right to redline pretty much? Same question for putting it into drive, when you pull lever down to "D" does it sometimes just free rev then catch? Squealing noise might be a result of the slip or free rev but I doubt it is related, more likely just a worn belt. How fast do you go in the gear that you have? mutliple different RPM vs what speed would be great to know. IE at 1500 rpms I am at xx mph and at 1800 rpm I am at xx mph Agree that you really need to talk with the builder. If it is possible bring it back to them and have them look at it. Edit: wild I guess it is about 4 hours from him https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Black+Sky+Racing+LLC,+E5484+County+Road+BB,+Menomonie,+WI+54751/Kenosha,+WI/@43.7316655,-92.2173525,7z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x87f87f69d43376e9:0x315d777533a84e04!2m2!1d-91.883469!2d44.938003!1m5!1m1!1s0x88055e372255d1e5:0x6d11785b8a32df18!2m2!1d-87.8211854!2d42.5847425
  17. Who build the tranny? Does it slip in 1st or is it starting in 3rd? I would guess the latter. I am guessing your going into limp mod and the tranny is only giving you 3rd and 4th most of the time. Nick
  18. My boss was running his mouth for the last month so the developer I work with and I decided to turn his office into a princess room 5 of the balloons on the ceiling were filled with glitter, he popped them with a thumb tack and now looks like he went to the strip club.
  19. Ohm out the rear wires from under the hood. On my truck the junction above the drivers front was really beatup due to salt etc. I had to redo pretty much all wires in the loom.
  20. Chamorro Tacos cook time: 2 hours Servings: 4ish Ingredients: - 2 large Chicken breasts - 4 large lemons - 1 large onion - 1 medium garlic - 1 bag of unsweetened ( or washed, to remove sugar, sweetened) grated coconut - 3-4 cups water - 1 TBS Cumin ( optional) - Corn Tortillas 1. In a large pot bring water to boil, add chicken to boiling water until cooked. 2. In large sauce pan brown onions and garlic, add cumin if desired 3. In a large mixing bowl combine onion/garlic mix and coconut. 4. Completely squeeze all 4 lemons, including pulp into the mixing bowl. The mix should be VERY heavy on the lemon, add another lemon if any mix isn't covered/soaking in the lemon juice, 5. Once the chicken is fully cooked remove it from the water and let cool, once cool use forks to pull the chicken apart fully into taco like meat. 6. Add chicken to the rest of the mix and let sit for an hour. 7. crisp corn tortillas in the pan, then add filling mix to the tacos and warm until hot. Serve and enjoy.
  21. I very rarely use recipes, but I like to use them as a starting point.
