  2. Looks like you got it settled but here's pics anyways! Looks like it came with 3 so it's not 9 bucks each grommet
  3. Thats the ticket! I'll give this method a shot! Btw, new setup looks good!!
  4. I'll double check what the part number is on the bag when I get home. I'm pretty sure I kept it just for this purpose, and it did come in a Cummins labeled bag.
  5. 18 bucks!!?? Use this link! https://www.genosgarage.com/product/dodge-ram-cummins-3905351-fuel-return-line-grommet/fuel-system-accessories-replacement-parts
  6. Don't think you've had enough because you're words are still in order and you knew what I was talking about in the first place! Roger that @Killer223! That's what I was being told, so easy enough on that end. Now the real test is to see if I can actually do all this tonight!
  7. Yea that's basically what he was saying. Basically lowering an inch wouldn't throw much of anything out of whack and the smaller tire size wouldn't affect it either. Thanks!
  8. Ok so to verify, my glove box label says PBT so that answers that. Next.. Going to be replacing my 2in spacer from who knows where with a 1in spacer from daystar later tonight (thank you late PNW nights) and I talked to a reputable 4x4 shop here in town who's done some work for me in the past and they said that dropping down the 1in combined with my upgraded steering arms won't be enough of a reason to get another alignment. I'm leaning towards believing him only because he could've easily just told me I'd need one and I would've been dropping the truck off there, and because he drives a mean 12v with some crazy suspension mods done so they know their stuff. What's your guys opinion on the matter? Alignment needed? yay/nay?!
  9. Ah gotcha, didn't catch the reman triple disk. What are you going to use it for?
  10. Is there a reason you go with DPC's TC and Goerend's VB and not just both from Goerend?
  11. What was the ac voltage on the alternator? Bad ground any where? ECM fried?
  12. Awesome write up! Glad all this information is in one spot for people to reference!! Great work!
  13. Just googled these. Do you think they really worked or had an added positive affect?
  14. Oh yea, I forgot about the glove box label! I'll check that later!
  15. I think mine would be labeled as patriot blue, but I haven't had mine since new, and it didn't come with a door sticker, so PO probably had it painted or replaced at some point. Still nothing I can tell a difference over. Later I'll post a couple other pics I took that same day just from a difference angle to see if the color varies at all.
  16. Nice, I ordered a set of Timbrens for the rear so I'm going to do a before and after pic of the truck hooked up to a travel trailer so I can see if it sits level still or sags. If it sags I'll go down to either a 1.5in or 1in spacer up front.
  17. I think it's because you know what little scratches and nicks are on you're truck because my paint is far from perfect. I have a ton of little rock chips on the lower body and a few dents and couple big scratches hahah Also, where did you get your 1.5 spacers? Cheapest ones I found before I found the set I got was 500+ and that was with tires that were shot.
  18. @dripley Definitely was a lucky find for me! @trreed It's hit or miss on how deep it looks haha. Isn't yours the same color?
  19. Haha Craigslist man! I searched for a long time and finally found these for under 200.
  20. Did you use a smarty?
  21. See Jon, I listened! Hahah
  22. @Mopar1973Man A stock valve body will lock in 2nd, just not a good idea to do it unless the trans is built to handle it. @xc2 Something seems off. If you have the switch, how are you activating it? If it's setup to work in conjunction with an exhaust brake I'm wondering if it can even be used while accelerating. I'd check the wiring to make sure you can use them separately but also at the same time if you wanted. The lockup switch should lock the TC as soon as the switch is activated. As far as the input shaft, if you already snapped one, I hope a billet one went in this time to avoid it happening again. Are you running a BD triple disc converter as well? Given your usage and what you've already experienced I'd say a lockup switch and bigger/better trans cooler are what you need to avoid any overheating issues.
