  1. Show me $600 Ricksons w/tires, today...don't get me wrong; I like Ricksons alot. I'd like to have a set, but to me, that's a chunk of change for wheels/tires when purchasing as new.
  2. Sweet! what's the fuel pressure thingy do, as far as defueling per fuel pressure drops? I guess I don't understand it's functionality, and why some use the feature, while others do not..
  3. Am I the first to think alternatively of the title? LOLBut yeah, just replace (I know, easier said than done, monetarily) the assembly and call it done.
  4. This was short-lived. It stopped working again...
  5. conflicting info, I'd like to know: Is the 01 and 02 MAP connectors the same? If so, then I'll be able to go straight to installing. Now, hopefully my VP wont die.
  6. I bought it.Came with pillar mount and hot unlock. It should be here next week. I will need an 01 MAP adapter, though.
  7. Don't forget the billet Torque Converter! Your 300k mile trans will be toast in short order, left untouched.
  8. yeah, i think they went from 165mm to 170mm at that time.
  9. thanks. Yeah, I tow pretty much weekly, a 9000lb tag-trailer, from about April to Sept. My 2500 doesn't have the extra springs, nor does it have a rear swaybar....yet...
  10. is it relevant that on my '01, if I turn the key on, no pump action occurs? But if I bump the starter, the pump will 'prime' for about 5-10 secs?
  11. Edge vs Adrenaline vs whateverWhat seems to be the consensus from users? Is one better than the other? Is it all opinionated? I ask because I was told I need an Adrenaline w/Pulse, because "it's the one to get."I found a used Edge Juice w/Attitude for $350 so I'm interested in seeing if there are issues with this brand of unit. It's currently on an 02 model, but I think a MAP adapter is all i need for it to work on mine?
  12. I see how it would. What I don't understand is the class-rating of 2500 vs 3500 (3/4ton vs 1ton) if they have the same spring rating.
  13. I'll let you all know as soon as I confirm. As for dripleys 2500 and 3500 having the same gross, then what denotes (especially if both have same springpacks) a difference in the 3/4T vs. 1T ?? Even in the SRW version of the 3500, why buy one, if it's the same as a 2500? Or am I just confused as hell..?
  14. thanks, mindless. As for the length, I've heard so many different measurements, I've no idea what is indeed true. I've heard DRW rears are 1", 2" and 4" WIDER. I've also heard they're 1-2" narrower.. LOL I'm converting for a couple reasons: 1: I want a dually, and funds won't allow that to take place. 2: I'd like the increase in tow capacity, if there's any gain. 3: See #1 As for the flares, duallyfendersusa.com has shortbed fenders for $700/pr. I am aware, that this isn't a "I don't like it, let me switch it back" conversion without buying a new bed. as for the steer axle spacers, are they interchangeable with older Ford? Just asking as to possibly broaden my junkyard search.. I considered keeping my D80, going with spacers in the rear (to retain my disc brakes on a budget), but I know spacers should not be towed with, and I do alot of that. Only the MegaCab. And those flares look like ***, IMO.
  15. I think I'm gonna do a DRW axle swap, add flares, and dually wheels (along with whatever else needs to take place) and convert mine to a dually.. My first question is: Are there rear springpack differences between the 2500 and 3500? I was looking at my buddy's 95 3500, and the rear packs look identical..
  16. I was looking at those, saturday.. contemplating just ordering one.
  17. I have these type of people, even in my family, that think the world owes them something. My niece is one of them, and I've finally had all the handout requests I could take from her. She's married, 2 kids, and her husband is as worthless as ____ on a boar. And whenever they have a problem (eviction, can pay a bill because they went out to eat 7 times last week, etc.) it's always someone else's fault. She works full time for chump change, 5 days/week. Her husband works part-time nights, 3 nights/week, 5hrs/night. Yet, they spend $300/week on daycare... His ___ could take care of them during the day, no? Sacrifice a little, idiot..end
  18. Mine is either MIA, or never had it.
  19. Put me in charge … Put me in charge of food stamps. I’d get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho’s, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job. Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I’d do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we’ll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, then get a job. Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place. In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the "common good." Before you write that I’ve violated someone’s rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules.. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self-esteem," consider that it wasn’t that long ago that taking someone else’s money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self-esteem. If we are expected to pay for other people’s mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices. 20. Here's how, provided they are 12VDC LEDs.. I've done this numerous times on different cars..
  21. I have an 01 QCSB 4wd, and I dropped the tank in like 10 minutes, using 2 floor jacks and a 6' long 2x12... Wonder what's so different between the two?
