  1. I do appreciate your service. I have 3 grandsons in the 82nd at Bragg + 1 son retired from the AF and one soon to be retired from the Army, 3rd ID I believe. There are not many days that go by I dont think of our folks in the military and the advice they pass on about our vehicles.
  2. Well at least you are hearing something.
  3. Not sure what it says but you can download from the articles section and have your own copy. I believe FSM is actually Factory Service Manual. @AH64ID spent to much time in the "field" while in the military. No offense meant.
  4. That is the same ones I saw at Dennys Driveshafts and I believe that's where @Me78569 got his. I would have to defer to him to be sure. The 2000 to 2002's love to eat some ball joints.
  5. Do you have the part #s for the Spicer ball joints you used? Just wondering if they are the same ones that @Me78569 used. I looked at the same and they were very economical. That scared me a little. I put Moog on mine about 7 years ago and they have held up well. I got them before Federal Mogul bought Moog.
  6. That is pretty cool. But I could tell by the first picture that I would better off grabbing the buss bars in my electrical panel and seeing if I could melt the change in my pocket.
  7. I don't have any experience with lug nuts not fully engaged. But on the job during structural steel inspections if nuts and bolts are not fully engaged I have to get a structural engineer to say whether the engagement is sufficient. This is where I think Ricksons judgement would be the gospel.
  8. I take you never tried the spare ECM before now.
  9. I believe he means ask Rickson about the thread engagement on the lugs too. They should know.
  10. I did mean the LED. There are still some pricey ones out there. The CFL were the same way when they came out.
  11. I went a similar with an ECM rebuilder many years back. Cost me a lot of money and aggravation. Did not want to see that happen to you or anyone else. I do not mean for it to be personal. When I read their add it appears the $80 is a diagnostic fee plus you have to ship to Japan it appears and pay to have it shipped back to. After diagnostics they tell you what it will cost to repair. I would hazard to guess that even it was legit that your cost would have been at least double if not more than what it would cost you to buy from DAP for just less than a grand. Again. It was nothing personal.
  12. I got a box full of them I can send you. They did take some getting used to. I like the LED's better, but I want pay $15 for one bulb. They aren't that good.
  13. Well I would polish mine but it would probably be dull blue like it is now. Anyway that picture looked like a complete intake box made of duct tape. Does the air get thru OK? I have to assume so or you would not be driving it.
  14. My truck has had 265 75r 16's it's whole life. Came stock on it. It was an option offered for them on mine. Door sticker says 245 on it.
  15. Have you ever adjusted your steering box?
  16. Hope you had your high waders on DF when you stepped into that one, I believe @leety might be an exception. You make me feel better because I am usually the one that has to pry his feet out of his mouth.
  17. I don't know what else I can say. It looks like serious bull crap to me. Send them your pump if you want but i would not send them a dime.
  18. i hope the initial rotations are not indicative are what you have to do to go straight. Surely that was pulling on to the roadway.
  19. Sounds like a good place to send your money to if you want nothing in return. You need to read it again it has scam written all over it.
  20. The reason I ask is the truck is tan but the under hood looks a different color.
  21. I missed that one. But that's what it looks like. I don't think that's his truck though
  22. If that's the case why is the key in the shaft so critical to be precise? Inquiring minds are trying to learn.
