Vp44 would this issue guys
Personally I have never had a high pressure spew of diesel from opening the injectors, but i really back mine off. you wont see a high pressure spew of diesel unless you barely loosen them. But like @Hawkez says try the hot wire as mentioned on the Blue Chip site. It would be bad to replace the VP and find out it is not your problem.

Prayers Please for MoparMom
Good to see she is out of immediate danger and progressing. Hope she is up to being fussed over. I think that will be a bit of a role reversal for her.

Rough week
Never had head light problems, turn signals went wacky on mine.

Multi function switch maybe. Not sure how to test it.

Because, Roadkill. If you like wrenching for the sake of wrenching, come on in.
I was wondering how that caddy suspension held up to that jump. i dont think jumping with oe motor was part of their engineering.

Let talk mpg and how timing vs fuel helps
I appreciate what you doing with this myself. It is interesting reading but far over my head. I understand what timing is but not to the degree you are taking it. I have had some of the best mileage ihave ever had while running the comp. Anything better would be gravy. Even though I dont buy my own fuel, getting good mileage is always a fun accomplishment. Keep on keeping on.

Injectors
Any word on what you are hearing on your injectors? I did not mean to seem condescending in my post at all. I just never had any reason to mistrust DAP. I know if my injectors had gone bad in 40k I would not have been happy either. Even with my driving I would have been at least 6 months out of warranty. And probably not happy to boot.

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
I would think there has to be some sort of marking to differentiate between them. But I did not think ther had been any new ones available for quite some time. I dont remember seeing any new ones 6 years ago when I looked for mine. But with the price of the remans I did not want to know what a new one cost.

Tie Rod Ends Stuck! 1999 Dodge Ram HD Steering
Most of mine are from HF and Northen tool. Not the best but I do not use them that often. The price is much more bearable. But the decision is yours. Just dont buy on sale and wait till the warranty is up to use it. They can be bad out of the box.

2001 24 valve Vin #7 no start
If the VP still has power to it the ECM is not shutting it down.

Threar locker..what type if any?
i use either the tape and I have some ptfe pipe dope that is compatible with diesel fuel that i use if necessary. Most brass to steel or brass to brass I dont find any of it necessary. I guess it just boils down to personal preference and whether or not you have a leak.

loosen your gas cap and see if any vacuum has built up. you should hear air being sucked in and the tank would swell. Mine looks a little like that but it is that way all the time.

Torque Converter Lock / Unlock Issues
Hope it all works out for. Where did you find a new VP? Hope it all works out for. Where did you find a new VP?

Injectors
He can test them as good as anyone and I cant see why he would not shoot you straight on what failed. Could be something very simple. Even the best of the best have an occasional failure. Look at your 53 block engine. You were more fortunate than many were with that. Cant loose anything by trying. Just temper your thoughts with this, even with a one year warranty you are 3 years over that. Anything he does to help is gravy and not an obligation.

ATF in fuel
TCW3. i get mine at Wally world. Super tech brand. it is the cheapest I have found. opti lube is a good alternative from what I hear. Bio diesel is also good. I do use a good bit of bio myself and my truck likes it. Been using for a couple of years with no issues. The only bad thing about the bio is if it is mixed at a 5% or less rate the pump does not have to be labeled so if you dont ask you dont know. Some of the folks you ask just look at you real funny and dont have a clue. in that case I still put some 2 stroke in any way. It is very beneficial. Google TCW3 and you can read up on it. Lots of different brands of it. The Super Tech is the cheapest and easy to find. At least thru my travels.

Beginners question...Fuel line bolt
Looks good, the info does help. Not sure what you have coming either but I believe Eric would be sending you some push lock fittings to replace the quick disconnect. It seems to be the weak link a lot of folks have had problems with. Think I am going to keep my QD's until they give some trouble. What you have and what Eric is probably sending is as big as you can get so you will have good fuel flow and for the most part trouble free operation. I hope that you did explain to Vulcan that you have the AD straight to the VP. The big line kits above go from the factory fuel canister to the VP.

Need new truck...rolled my 2002
thank you both. The dummie is now somewhat more educated. I guess my unicorn would be the truck my long lost relative has been keeping in a barn with 10k on it for the past 15 years. Cant seem to find him though.

Injectors
I have been quite happy with the DAP 275's. It would be a step down for you since you have been running the 75hp. They were a step up for me and one I will probably step up again. Vulcan has a good rep also. It would be interesting to know what happened to yours with the low mileage on them.

Ok it is 3 gen for dummies time. What is a unicorn 3rd gen?

Beginners question...Fuel line bolt
Well that changes things. Re reading your original post it would sound like you were speaking of the stock banjo bolts and fittings. Me personally did not realize that you had an aftermarket system on your truck. So the above advice does not apply to the system you have. The torque number quoted above is for the stock bolts. This is a prime reason why the majority of us have signature that you see at the bottom of all of our posts. If you fill out yours it will be there also. It should contain info on your truck including modifications such as an AD fuel system. Not trying to beat you up at all it just helps with getting good advice. I have an AD system on mine with the same fitting as you. I do not remember a torque # for it but I did not torque to a specific #. I just snugged it up and checked to see it it leaked. Mine did not but if it had I would have snugged it more until quit. Some folks are going to tell the fitting you are using is not a good fitting. They tend to leak. It is true a lot of folks have had trouble but mine have been on for over 5 years with out issue. That one you will have to judge for yourself. I can only speak from my experience.

ATF in fuel
I personally would not use it myself but for the crowd that believes in it I dont think you will convince other wise.

Beginners question...Fuel line bolt
You are also replacing the fittings on both ends. No more hollow bolts.
