Oil pump life expectancy
When I am driving down the highway and checking my gauges, oil pressure is always one I look at. Then I realize it is really not telling me what I want to know. I still have not done anything about it. I do have one spot open on the triple pod. Hmmm!!!

Fuel pressure problem, again
Since you used 1/4" fuel for the grommets did you double check to be sure it is still not leaking? I understand using the fuel line, the oe grommets are pricey for what they are. Did they fit snug in the tee? Just asking not questioning your intentions. When I went thru this I never experience white smoke like you. i am thinking others might be right on sucking air.

Oil pump life expectancy
I have 380k on mine with the oe pump. Never had any reason to touch the engine internals other than adjusting the valves and injector replacement. Oil pump failure is not anything I have read about being a weak link.

Mopar73 Full Eclipse Meet and Greet Camp Trip Aug 18th Thru the 21st 2017
It would be a privilege to do so. So far the closest i ever made it is Hooker OK. Out in the panhandle. Might have been a little over half way.

rv converter for the batteries.
It gets a little dangerous around here on occasions. I have been speared a few times. Just part of the fun. On the converter, my oe did not. Charged the battery pretty hard. Always had to keep a close on the battery. The Charge Wizard in the Intellipower has taken good care of the battery. I have not had to add in water in quite while. You could look up the one you have now and see what it is capable of.

rv converter for the batteries.
I am running one of those in mine. It takes very good care of my battery and provides good power to the unit.

Another ECM Toasted? 0606 death code
I am of the same opinion. You could borrow one and install it to verify if one is available to you.

Another ECM Toasted? 0606 death code
All I can say is do some research and check them out good. I googled them came with a little good and a lot of bad. Alot of times folks are more apt to post there bad reviews while folks with success dont say any thing. So you still have to temper what you read.

Headlight Bulbs
The biggest difference i ever saw was changing out the old headlights. I just run the oe bulbs and they work fine for me. I was in the Home Depot at home several weeks ago and came across o whole bin full of automotive bulbs marked way down. Headlights for $2.80 each and turn signal and tailight bulbs for $1.40 a pair. Bought most of what they had that fit the truck and the wifes Saturn. Hope not to have to buy any more.

That could be interesting.

Another ECM Toasted? 0606 death code
You describe what mine did when the ECM went. All the same symptoms and codes except for the 606. I only got that after installing a rebuilt one from an internet rebuilder. I would go thru the processes mentioned above just to be sure since the ECM is such a big ticket item.

Anti-Theft ideas
Just food for thought. We throw all these good ideas of anti theft out there and anybody will be able to see them right here or any forum with an open discussion about them. I think if I came up with an idea I would keep it to myself. Nothing personal ya'll.

Grossing 16-17k in the Northeast, should I expect more from truck?
I am running an Edge comp on my second gen and tow in level 2X3. I am grossing about 23k and the one trip I made with it so far from Muslce shoals AL to Hickory NC I netted 11.3 mpg running between 60 to 70 mph. It was hill country so I did spend some time in 5th but mostly 6th. I do turn less rpm than you, 2000 at 70 mph. Maybe that is the difference between us. Definitely not comparing apples to apples. My next trip I had planned on running level 3X3 and see how that works. Level five while towing is not something I ver contemplated doing. Seems like way to much power to shove thru the drive line, at least at my weight. I ran a Banks programmer rated at 75 rwhp for years with no issues. Some of that was with the stock clutch. Never slipped it.

New Seat Cushion
A good upholstery shop can rebuild the seat. The cost I have no idea on. I need both the cover and the seat cushion X 2. What did the seat cost your uncle?

Truck stolen
With the value these truck hold it is not surprising and yours sure fits the bill for value just on looks alone. I have no words for this one. I will keep my eyes open down this way. Maybe someone knew how to start it. Might narrow things down some. Just thinking out loud with that one.

New Seat Cushion
I did not swap the upholstery. That was the main reason for swapping the seats. The upholstery .was shot. The foam on the cushion was worn also but not an issue for sitting purposes. So now both of mine are pretty worn out from sliding in and out.
-
New Seat Cushion
It is pretty simple. I swapped my passenger for the drivers a few years back. The upholstery is different. The side next to the console is weaker and did not hold up very long. Nothing like the drivers side. But sway was easy.

Overhead console
We're talking about the one on in the roof not the one between the seats.

Overhead console
I could not resist a little.

Overhead console
Well maybe I am weird who knows. Never had one, never felt like I needed one. I generally know what direction I am going. I have a odometer and gas gauge to tell me how far I can go before I run out of gas. If I need to know my fuel mileage that bad I an stop and fill the tank any time and find out. When my ac was not working I did not want to know how hot it was outside and now that it works I dont need to know. I dont have all the gadgets Mike has either. I guess I am just stuck in my old ways and dont sweat it. But if you really want one or feel the need for one who am I to say you dont need it.
