Fuel problems?
I would put new key in it, reprime the system and see what happens. Blue chip diesel has some trouble shooting on hot wireing like Me mentions or spend the $260.

The air bags on your truck are more useful.

Truck loses power and wires are cut
ECM rebuilders are a crap shoot on the Cummins. It could cost you a lot more in the long run. It did me.

Another battery thread.....
I usually look at battery displays when around them just to see what folks get for them and have noticed the 27's being less plentiful that in the past Why would weak batteries cause a lope?

Track bar
Ow, ow, ow. STOP IT. I have nothing against air bags. Matter of fact I have toyed with the idea of getting some. If I was to get them I would still leave the rake on the truck. So far the overload springs have served me well and still carry the trailer well. Belt sander that one you old fart!!!!

Sticking clutch pedal
I bled mine while it was on the truck. I replaced it separately from the rest of the system. I filled it first and then installed it. Had a friend push the clutch in an hold it while I opened the screw. I would just put them on and see if it helps. If it is doing the same thing the other one did then it is not the hydros .

Truck loses power and wires are cut
The oe basket has some screens on it. Some like mine were fitted in tank pumps that had a screen on the pump. They both could clog and cause fuel starvation. Hard to say what you have. It is hard to know whats going on without knowing what has been changed on your truck. I agree with Mike on the lift pump power. By passing the ECM for power is a sign that part of it has failed. It is a work around many folks have used.

New truck!!
Mine is built into the the block that holds the filters and the pump. Very simple.

I have always liked the stock rake of the truck. Looks like it is ready to haul a big load.

Truck loses power and wires are cut
Picture will definitely help. Sounds like the PO hacked something in to by pass another issue. the lift pump is connected up in some strange fashion.

Truck loses power and wires are cut
Are the cut wires just cut and hanging or are they connected to anything?

Purchasing my first Travel Trailer need advice
My had this oe. It sounds like this one does too. I am assuming it comes with the black tank flush you mention. They are great dump the tank and flush it at the same time.

Truck loses power and wires are cut
X2 on the above. What kind of fuel pump is on it? Sounds like you might have a good pump but someone butchered the install.

Track bar
All this makes me want to jack up my front end just to see how far it moves, but I have to many other things to jack up this week end, With 2" of lift and the angle of the track bar it just does not look like it could make that big a difference.

New truck!!
One of the things liked about the ADII that bought is the adjustable pressure regulator. I did not want to mess with a spring and such. If I want a change just loosen the lock nut and adjust as necessary. Not sure why more of them dont come that way. I have mine set at 18.5 at idle and see for the most part a 2.5# drop at WOT. If I set the comp on 5 and hold my foot in it I can pull it down to about 15#'s. by then I am going faster than I need too.
-
New truck!!
Was any of that run at WOT? I did not see but maybe a 1 psi drop.

Track bar
I knew it would move it. But it surprises me it moves that much. Like I said I am no expert.

Purchasing my first Travel Trailer need advice
I lived in mine for 7 years with my wife and it held up fine and I dont remember that one being stained. I would not sweat it either.

Track bar
I am no track bar expert but if you lift the body it has to get off center, simple geometry there. How much on a 2" lift? I would think not alot maybe not noticeable.

Its like buying things for a boat. It always cost more. $230 buck will be a really nice toilet for you house

New truck!!
My valve is alot closer than yours and it has not caused me any reading issues since install 5 or so years ago. Yours is not as close as mine. The location should be fine.

Oil change and fuel filter change next week..
I have had to crack some injectors a few times over the years but mostly not. Matter of fact I usually just cycle the lift pump 2 or 3 times and start the engine. If it does die after that then I crack some line open. I have also filled my filter. Just bear in mind that any fuel that goes down the big center hole will be unfiltered. I never let that bother me that bad.

Notes from the wilderness!!!
If I had tried this at my house all I would have had was a chicken grave yard. My wife and kids would have named all of them and had a close personal relationship each and everyone. I would have had gather up the dead, put them in a box and gave them a proper burial with headstone. Maybe even a nice picket fence. I guess we are a little too city.

Another battery thread.....
It is funny you mention that lope. I too got one after changing over to the RV 275's several years ago, maybe 5 or so, and did attribute that to the injectors. The lope stayed with me on and off for a good while. I too never saw anyone with the issue and just quit worrying about it. Got to where I just never paid it any attention and it got to where it happened less and less the longer they were in there. I have not noticed happening in a good while but I did change out my batteries a year or so ago. Maybe thats why. I will keep an ear open for it now. Good to hear the batteries worked out for you.

New truck!!
I usually see around 3psi change in mine. All depends on how you have it plumbed. I use the stock filter, you did not. Mine is tapped halfway between the canister and the VP so closer than you. It just seems to vary from truck to truck too. Nothing wrong with 2 psi drop. Drive it some and a while and see how it settles in.
