how much can you haul in the bed?
Plenty of thunder to go around here. I guess sometimes it might be better not to have a scale nearby, we might scare ourselves.

I was wondering when you would speak up. Got any idea how much all that wood weighs?

how much can you haul in the bed?
I think having the load spread entirely thru the bed is the key. at least that will put some of the load towards the front axle. I had 1 cube and 3 straps from the tailgate forward and to the last 2 straps and loaded them at the front of the bed try to get some weight forward. I would think the long bed would be a little better since the rear axle is a little further back from the front of the bed. But either way that is an impressive load in the bed to haul. long or short. Especially without squatting the truck. Hope i dont have to do that again and haul it 85 miles though.I would have liked to have known what weight was on the rear axle. Then again maybe its better not to know.

Turbo delete
They hammered the kid in the thread mike posted and the other one i origanlly saw that was 20+ pages. but in the thick of them there were a few voices that spoke like ISX about it, but they were drowned out big time.I wonder if we can mass produce the delete kit.:lol:I blew a boot of once cause i did not tighten the clamp. I never noticed wether it was smoking but I darn sure notice the absence of power.

Airdog and fuel pressure
Just throwing this out there. I connected mine to the alternator and do not experience the voltage drop when they are cycling. Am I isolated from the voltage by being connected there?

Turbo delete
I saw that one the other day and figured it was going to be a repeat of the kid wanting more smoke that turned into a 20 page coal raking. I do like the delete though. very stylish.

Airdog and fuel pressure
Might be the reason. But if i remeber correctly that was one of the power options listed in the instructions. Move it and see what happens.

how much can you haul in the bed?
My 96 did not have overloads and I hate to think how squatted it would have been with 2 cubes. I dont really care to put that much in the 02 again anytime soon.

Surging
I have been feeling something very much like driving into a gusty wind like you say. Just every once in a while. i can feel it but all of my gauges are holding steady. Mostly hilly country where I am driving so the movement in my boost gauge is the only thing i see. Not sure if that is due to grade changes. a subtle change will make the boost move up and down. When you say surging I am thinking the rpm rising on its own which you should be able to see in the tach. But if it is what I am feeling you have to be quick to the gauge to see it. I cant see it but every so often i feel it. My injectors are leaking at the head and I attributed it to that and until i stop the leak I am leaning towards that for what I am sensing. Is this any thingclose to what you are feeling?

how much can you haul in the bed?
I wish I would have had a trailer. That was more weight than i cared to carry in the bed. This had to be a one trip deal due to the brick yard not being open on saturday.

as long as your sender is grounded you should be good. just be sure your sender is after your last fuel filter. I still use the oe canister in addition to the AD filters. My tap for the gauge is between the oe canister and the VP.

How did you check for codes? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

how much can you haul in the bed?
I have seen several threads on how big a load you can pull. How big of a load have you hauled in your bed. I just had to go after brick for my mason. I put 2 cubes of brick in the bed. That is somwhere in the neighborhood of 6k pounds. The truck had plenty of power to haul, my rv out weighs it considerably. the first cube put it just above the overloads and the second cube put hard on them. I was able to get the load centerd in the bed(2 cubes=6'-6" long) which helped put some weight to the front. But i was really suprised she handled that much weight in the bed as well as it did. She sat level, rode great, steering was a little light but handled pretty normal, when you hit a bump you could tell it had a lot weight in it. Just curious how much any of yall have toted.
