Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
How about when a headlight turns off for a few days and then magically comes back on? ?

God damn that looks like the perfect questionable life choice haha.

Though I sprung an oil leak tonight after a hard pull up a hill. I think it's the oil return line at the 2" rubber piece on the block. Will check out more tomorrow.

Teardown and Rebuild
I mean, we were messing with the line for half an hour, and then drove 70 miles before it completely snapped off. It was seeping fuel at the fuel stop before complete failure, and after a number of times of loosening and tightening I guess it just gave up. Still raises the question of how it cracked in the first place.

Did some fine-tuning of the wastegate today, and I can hit 47 psi on the mechanical gauge at WOT full wiretap (quad spikes to 58 psi lol). 35 psi on CANBus. Good enough for me, and it feels torquier down low. Definitely glad I went back to the smaller housing.

I just got a set of 4500K's on order. Should be here in a few days.

Teardown and Rebuild
You mean the three hours I slept? Or when I was awake??

And if you go through a set every three years like you did with the truck, you're set for a long time! I'm considering converting the Honda to projectors. Stock halogens just don't cut it anymore.

Sweet. Gotta get those ordered. It just went "pop" and then I only had one bulb. Still plenty of light output!

Finally got around to putting on the exhaust housing... Happy @TFaoro? lol. Everything went in very well, and it sure is nice to have a wastegate again (set right at 45 psi and it hits it), though I do miss the sound of the old housing. I bent the actuator bracket to clear the drain tube, as I learned from an old turbo that the actuator rod hits on these style housings, causing the drain tube to be cockeyed and oil leaks everywhere. Also, I lost a headlight bulb tonight. so 4500K is the recommended replacement @Me78569 or @jlbayes?

Is it a vp44 issue or an injector issue?
The 4k box will hardly be streetable. The custom tuning isn't that bad, and lets you get plenty of power with little or no smoke

How Hot are Your Hydroboost Lines?
After a 2 hour drive on the freeway towing at 85-90-ish, my lines were hot. Could hold them for about 5 seconds. Later, lots of city driving and idling, I could only touch them for about 2 seconds.

Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....
Here's my "other place".... in Sterling, CO. Not much here besides industrial parks and farm fields, but they do have a Walmart. Biggest town in NE Colorado.

Quadzilla Shudder light throttle
If I'm not mistaken, that's because @Me78569 disabled the anti-stall feature in the latest tune.

Quadzilla Shudder light throttle
I'm sure you have more than 500 miles on it, but that was my experience. Super fun to experience issues on a logging trail at 2 am with no cell service!

Quadzilla Shudder light throttle
Just got a chance to run this test. No issues for me. Mike, where is your VP from? Mine is a Midwest Injection unit, and I had some timing issues at around 500 miles. Sent it in for warranty and they replaced the key. No issues since

I agree Nick. When I thought my HO VP was dying (now I believe it was an issue related to a flash in the quad not getting along with my ECM), I had an SO VP on my upgrade list. So turns out the upgrade was premature, but I still am glad it happened.

@dripley what I've noticed with the SO pump is more fuel at higher RPMs on canbus, more wiretap, but without the internally advanced pump, slightly slower turbo spool, and as a result, a little more soot. Another thing I noticed is on the quadzilla. With the HO pump I was starting around 82%, and with the SO I'm starting my daily tune at 97%.

Yesterday, I took my stealth plate out of hiding and tapped my new VP. It was high time to make some questionable decisions, and I was bored. All I can say after tapping the new pump is holy crap, this truck HAULS A$$. Very happy I went with an SO pump the second time around. Also, a 12cm housing has been ordered, so yay torque!

Going to look at this tonight
Don't buy anything from Alabama. Or Colorado. Got it!

You got me lol. After working on Tiff's 6.no all weekend it felt like my truck actually responded to treatment. Which was nice.
