Dana 70s are tough...

What I would really like to find is a 70 4 door truck. Then swap a cummins into it.

I drove it. The tuner does a good job.

I can get all i need out of a small block with way less weight. Besides, it is realllly clean. I dont like swapping out stuff as nice as this. The fact it is so clean and rust free is the draw for me. Original and cancer free makes it good to have and good investment (as vehicles go) in the long run if times become hard. Hopefully i will know something this next week if we can make a deal.

318 2v, 4sp, divorced 205 tcase, really really clean and straight. runs excellent... the guy wants 6500 which i think is a bit high. Thoughts? The plan would be a megasquirt tbi efi homebrew kit and use as a fun old tow vehicle for my 70 barracuda (once its finished).

I likely will need a new one next year... so you all go ahead and figure it out.

The panel under the steering column pops out. i like putting them there in front of my knee.

I dont know what they run now. i am just saying you have to gauge if its worth 140 or whatever to ya. I thought it was. I have run the oem ones til they short out, and it ran for weeks til the timbo got in. worked ok.

I think it is definitely smoother than stock... I found my cruise was smoother after swapping. Required, no. Worth it depends on how much you want to spend.

Yeah, but that power is going to come into play at a lower vehicle speed and tow like a champ.

lol Easier maintenance with no chance to damage a turbo by a dumb tech. Engineering can account for the pre or post turbo, but pre is more accurate without that data.

At idle that makes sense to me. Moving... It seems backwards from what I expected.
