  1. Wild and Free, you could buck that trend and carve it in on your calendar. I know it's a ways to go for some but back roads out west are just the ticket for enjoyable trips. Or fly I guess. Me I don't fly after my last experience.
  2. 6 members. That is great. Enough for a good powwow. I invited a cabinet maker, nice guy, I've known for a long time with a 4th gen. He's got problems almost since it was new and the dealer can't seem to get it right. He's never heard of this forum nor any other but wants to join in the fun.
  3. There is minimal response to this. Don't any of you guys get a kick out of traveling/ driving your trucks all day and meeting up with the rest of us? It's just plain cool fun. I don't care how tough things are there are some things you cannot afford to miss Mike is teriffic person and well.... Mopar Mom.... she is a whole 'nother story, beyond fantastic. Joe/ IBMmobile, I'd be very happy to see you there. I know you'd have a great time. I mean this sincerely to everyone too
  4. Thanks, I forgot to mention it's on a Monday August 21st. 2017.
  5. The full eclipse is going to happen very near Mopar Mans place, within an hours drive anyhow. This doesn't happen often so I thought maybe some of you would be interested in what we might call Mopar Mans Eclipse meet and greet. Mike knows a great place.... I followed him there and camped there. It's doubly good since it's east of the mountains with not much for clouds, no high mountains that would block the full impact of darkness during mid day. Schedule this out far enough like this and everyone interested could set it in concrete to go. What say you?
  6. I've known they are on the decline. It's just so weird cutting the grass for a couple hours and not seeing any. I will look some more and report back.
  7. He's trying out the new bumper that's why all the bumps. I'm sure it will hold up good.
  8. I like it...... Only one thing missing Joe, that I'm aware of and that's the ss Mopar badge you got. Would look real good if you put it on on there.
  9. I have loads of clover growing in with the grass and they were always in front of the mower. Lots of blackberries and other flowering plants too.
  10. This the first year that I have not seen any honey bees. Kind weird. Is there a reason for them to be completely gone in one area and then still be around in another town?
  11. I'm glad you went there before the crowds. It makes all the difference. My wife's gotten the same way, says being in the truck for just a couple days is too much. Me... I think I could almost drive my truck for days on end. I love to travel camp thru back roads and only 300 miles a day. In before dark with time to relax. Thank you for the pictures, they are great.
  12. Thanks Michael, I just thought if your a long way from home a protection device against a sudden burnt diode would be great till you get home and change the alt.
  13. Is there an electronic device that I can add on that acts like a filter to reduce AC noise?
  14. The weather techs tuck under, I never knew about a leak problem. The 3-m tape may be hard on paint surfaces, not sure, only reason I'm thinking this is my body side molding is coming loose in places and the paint is bubbling under the 3-m tape.
  15. Thanks for the pics. It's cool to see what new Mopar members look like.
  16. This is strange to me because I've always thought that a majority of Americans that own guns are the good ones, willing to fight for the good of all the rest of us. That is what the military is for also.... so why a conflict? What do they stand to gain becoming a communist America. It doesn't make sense to me Mike
  17. Who is Jade Helm? I've not heard of him before. The link only says what you wrote Mike.
  18. Russ my wife got me one shipped to the house for 99 cents. Shipping was more, comes with instructions and your original number programmed in. It was online somewhere like phone mart or something. It was not as good as the phone store flipper I broke but close. Now I like it since I am used to it. I Will ask her when she gets home tonight.
  19. It is interesting that there might be other causes to bring up the 0216 code because I drove long distances for 4 years with the 0216 code present. It would always come back up too but the truck performed beautifully. Now that Mike Nelson changed the VP it has not come back.
  20. That's what my thinking is and is still used today on antique boats. I can show you tree damage where there is raw exposed wood that mildews but, where the tree sap (pine tar) bleeds out there is no mildew under the bleed.
  21. Thanks, I'm so glad you found it. Do you think the VP needed changing since it showed the 0216 code? My gut tells me you didn't waist money all too bad.
  22. Please, please tell us what the issue was okay? I think Mike Nelson gives out Booby prizes for the one that guessed right. Was it the APPS?
  23. Thanks for the story Mike. Russ and others, I do not want a smart phone either. It's too big for my pockets to be carrying around with my active working lifestyle. It would get damaged real quick being that size. I've damaged or lost phones and would not like replacing a smart phone each time. I can roll over it with my truck and get another for 99 cents.
