That looks good to me. Take that puppy back out and have it Line-Xed on both sides. It will last forever.

Lift pump fail
Mines only going to make about 30k. Have to look at the records to see when I got it. Wish we could get pics on how to build up the Raptor and AirDog with the correct O ring gaskets. I think I read about Vitrol Orings? something like that lasts a whole lot longer to stop fuel from weeping into the elect. motor. If that's even the only problem. You guys with the Mechanical pumps... sounds best for sure, but I want to wait and see if they do hold up for the long haul.

swepco oils
If it's CI-4 and not CJ-4 I would be all over it. Personal experience showed me the CI-4 is better oil.

Lift pump fail
How many miles did you get out of the Raptor? I'm getting there too,as my Rapter 100 is showing some weakness. I noticed it on the way home from Mopar's place. I might try Fass next time not sure though as there are some posts about unreliability.

I got a good shot of the Mopar family all around the kitchen. Got to get that posted cause it's great. Yes to the built auto trans Diesel4life, it will have to happen when this stocker starts to go. Mikes truck was too fun. Bomb bug bites hard cause I always said it would never happen, now got me with a vengeance.

New arrival to the collection!
I like that car. Noticed the speedometer goes to 160 . I noticed a lot of Cummins guys go to the German TDI for a good match up for the wifey. Wish I could but she wanted a Subaru. Want to say the advertisement for Subaru has noting to do with the type of people that drive them.

How Much?
Mike just about roasted me out every time I'd go in for coffee . Even the coffee stayed hot. he he, but the folks around there are even warmer still. I'll never forget Betty your mail carrier... she's cool person, lots of courage with a great story

Just got home. Had a good run with no 0216 code returning like it was for 4 years before. I gotta say..... had a real good time Mike and Mopar Mom. Thank you for prompting me to get over there. Got some real rest and real fun. It is an out of the way place with a whole lot of mountains towering over your place. It's beautiful. Pleased with the comments and interest on my truck.... it's nothin' compared to Mikes powered up Second gen. It was a blast riding in with ya' BTW, Anybody have antidote for getting off the slippery slope of power modes? I have an automatic

How Much?
It's been unusually warm in Oregon this year. Many of the locals talk about not much winter weather. I burned no more than 3/4 ths of a cord so far.

Green Filter Air Filters
It looks similar to K and N filters. I'd have to wait and see what others are experiencing before buying as the K and N are said to let too much dust thru the filter medium.

rear LEDs
I gave my old flatbed new leds 2 weeks ago. the marker lights are brighter than the regular tail lights till you hit the brakes, then they are just as bright but bigger of course. I think the brake lights should be the brightest over all others but, I guess that's the way they make them. I don't like the way the leds burn out, slowly loosing one or two little bulbs at a time. They charge too much when they only last about 5 years and begin to go bad.

Good day from SOCAL
Looks like he's getting ready to fix a VP44

Steering Brace
Looks like good heavy quality. Now, I wish they made one for my first gen because the steering box mounting bracket has broken twice on mine.It is a common problem with first gens. Metal fatigue I guess. So I had this last one reinforced by a certified welder but now you can see the frame it's is flexing instead. My second gen benefited from the steering stabilizer as well. Put on before any fatigue showed up in the future.

Rapid Corrosion White Powder Build up to Batteries......
My wife sometimes calls me 'anode'. I hope I'm not 'sacrificial No...... I used to have a boat with a some 'zincs' as they called them. I used to watch if there was rapid or slow anode loss as an indication of electrical leaks thru the water. Sometimes it would get more or less rapid. I think part of my problem on the truck may not be a ground leak but, may be the Excide batteries with a weak casing, leakage between top and sides, as my other truck battery is doing the same white powder. I have solved it by using a light coat of oil on tops and terminals. I want to try the two cent advice too

Good day from SOCAL
Hi, Welcome Vince. I don't care what anyone else thinks... I still think our second gens take on the best styling. I have a 1993 400 k miler first gen and a 2002 second gen.

Friday Funny.
I'm convinced you don't fully grow up until your 60. I know this after seeing my Grampa who was fully grown/ mature for another 36 years. His most important bit of advice.... 'stay away from doctors'

Where all you guys/ gals live.... is it gettin' crowded too?
I'm afraid that is going to be Oregon's plight since they recently legalized that stuff (can't spell it) here too.

Where all you guys/ gals live.... is it gettin' crowded too?
Beautiful! Mike, where did you say that place was? Hermit, Idaho he he That must have been a real adventure moving there from the megalopolis you were in before.

I can't believe the numbers of crowds and cars. It's like it happened over night, not like the usual yeah there is a few more around each year. It's more like all of a sudden. For instance, a 20 min. commute now takes an hour and roads are overwhelmed with traffic. Is it like that at your place?
