Is that why there's a NO SMOKIN sign on your tail pipe Mike?

Tire size difference?
I would stay with all the same size. I've purchased several deals on craigs list that will sell for more money now than before. Simply cause they were good deals originally and now are worth more. I store up good deals in my shop even when I don't need them cause they could not be passed on at the time. I finally got a screamin deal for matching spare rims on both my trucks. What got me hooked, was a set of e rated tires like new 90% left, mounted on Alcoa rims for $400 . That was too cool.

Fuel additive
Not a lot of difference except some have less ash than others. How to tell is up to what you read on the bottle I guess. Our injection pumps were designed to run with higher lubricity diesel not the new ultra low sulpher fuels of today. It's missing the low scoring values because it has less lubricating value.

Still here!
Looking back on it now I would not have worried so much thru the rough times while raising my kids. God has a way of watching over families w/ children.

I can fix that. How about heated concrete floor, r 38 ceiling, r 25 walls and heating that runs on used oil?

Glad your back. You are going to find out how kids make Christmas a blast. We'd spend hundreds on toys but all 3 daughters loved simple balloons more.

2001 Dodge starter fire
Interesting that in 400 k miles my first gen is on it's second rebuilt starter. Doing well. The auto parts guys told me the better rebuilders and know by how many get returned as compared to others. One rebuilder was getting an inordinate amount of returns at one time. It was called Ultima is their name.

Power steering overflowing
Yep, you won't find me arguing that point Mike, as I've never seen such a surprise with my truck just sitting for weeks suddenly spewing PS fluid.

Blower Motor
Looks like they got plenty of solder on top and not much in between the connection. Where is that resistor pack for the blower? Like to look over mine too.

Best option for rebuilt ECM
I cannot get my last statement to go out of the quote box

Best option for rebuilt ECM
Not really a fair statement. I was a mechanic at one of those "corporate repair shops" for years and I took a lot of pride in my work. I did everything in my power to make sure the customer left well informed and happy. Sorry you had a bad experience but you have to do your homework before letting someone under the hood.

Best option for rebuilt ECM
Tim I know the best 2nd gen repair shop in the U.S. We can all meet up with our truck problems, camp out in his front yard on a river, sit around and drink beer till our trucks are all fixed up.

I know I married the right one she won't waste not even a penny

Power steering overflowing
It was weird seeing that rather large area of oil, to suddenly show up like tha,t knowing I had not driven the truck for 3 weeks. I going to do the return line disconnect instead of my usual turkey baister flush. Might be part of the problem mixing with the old fluid that a baister never gets out.

Cameras are a powerful tool. They don't lie.

Power steering overflowing
I think it's that the PS fluid was old, about 7 years, probably foamed up and then on the first hot day we had it sat there three weeks without moving BTW, it simply expanded in the resovior. I'm hoping anyhow.
