  1. Wards gave a lot of young people a start as I also worked there in Monterey, Ca. during summers, when not in school.
  2. Same here, I noticed running uphill seemed like the 100 wasn't keeping up to the demand like it used to.
  3. I didn't mean bad about Montgomery Wards. I should have used another example. I felt bad when they went out of business, they were around so long and yes I used to shop there also.
  4. I wonder if they found a problem with their pumps and are thinking not to open up over the replacement cost potential. I had a Raptor 100. After about 60,000 it was showing signs of weakness because I had to turn up the regulator a couple times to stay in range. Now both my rigs have the 150's for a try. I think they run with less effort.
  5. You guys should see the inside of the two Napa stores in these two logging towns in Oregon. Blow your eyeballs out with all the good stuff in there. You don't get the feeling your at Montgomery Wards like a lot of places.
  6. I found out only last night my sign got moved next to the outhouse on the door side, no less, where it squeaks /slams all night. M73M would make a great RV park manager.
  7. Where's the 'reserved for JAG1' sign? Or is that for guys that help split firewood and don't sleep till noon?
  8. A/C ripple can start any time a diode in the alternator goes out. Everything will be working fine so you may never really know when excess ripple begins, but by eliminating the biggest offender to the electronics (the budget minded engineering by the factory). The W-T modifications lower the risk significantly and tests before and after have all shown excellent results.
  9. You should start reading up on the W-T wire harness mods to lower your A/C ripple. I know you most likely have too much AC volts running thru the system, a slow death to electronics, including the psg board on top of the injection pump. Most all of us have completed this change and all have had excellent results and was well worth the effort.
  10. Timbo APPS is the smoothest most reliable APPS available. I wouldn't go anywhere without having one at least under the seat or in the glove box ready to change out. What did the factory APPS cost you these days?
  11. Guys use them on their Fords so they sound like the Cummins
  12. If I remember correctly it's some kind of modified chicken grease from Dripley Farms
  13. Some pretty good tips too I'd bet with something like that I was in my early 20's when I realized I was always thrilled with the deep forested places and the idea of a log cabin stuck with me. I decided one day that my next step and every step after will follow those dreams. I'm happy I did. Lots of hard work and lots of learning. I ended up with a kit log home, but hey with three daughters and a wife needing a home..... a guy can only do so much.
  14. So you'll build it when you retire?
  15. You both look so familiar. That Guy, stop it, you are making me so hungry. It looks wonderful!
  16. Russ Roth, you and Walt look so familiar. Did you ever go to any of the N.W. Bombers Meet?
  17. Why not work till you get your shop built Dave and then think about camping and having fun?
  18. This post needs to be a sticky..... best I've ever read from M73M W-T electrical corrections to the wire harness are good mods too. Can't go wrong there
  19. Me and my youngest ready to head out for the Sierras and meet up with IBMobile and his gang. I'll paint them damn rafters next year! I been sayin' that for awhile.
  20. It might solve the problem, but almost everyone here has done the full important portion of doing the 4 sensor grounds and shortening the B+ wire to the passenger battery making the job complete. So I don't know if anyone has an answer on doing just that portion of the job. It is important to mention that Mopar1973Man and W-T (both professionals on the subject) are going to have a discussion in the future about the battery to battery strapping being an important part of the equation. I have to somehow trick them into showing up at the chicken house at the same time for a big bawk squawk and talk.
  21. Anyone that visits M73M's resort will like going into Riggins next door. It's a nice small river town with nice people everywhere. I went there twice and each time I enjoyed it. Be nice to have a small river cabin within walking distance of the coffee shop downtown. Gee... I wouldn't have to do anything as I could bug M73M to do everything to my trucks, even wash the windows and grease the muffler bearings.
  22. They use Driply for crowd dispersal during riots. More effective than tear gas, he is paid to be on the special forces being that he is so effective..... Suddenly everyone has a mask on when he shows, but it doesn't help. When there is trouble getting a building permit Chick Fil A sends Dripley in there.
  23. Chickens don't get caronavirus, Dripley has Truckownavirus
  24. Perfect for the whole crew on the jobsite. Very nice colors too.
