  1. rule of thumb.no title=no dealkeeps you from getting ripped off
  2. i do this as well, tighten and clean up then drive and after a couple days check em tuey are always dry for me if no leaks are there
  3. south bend and valair are very good clutches i like my single disk
  4. i would do a smoke switch to get tailgaters off me thats about it.
  5. fuel boss here. mechanical and have the oem style pump inline as backup and priming.
  6. 6th gear bearing on nv5600 gets starved of lube and when towing will eat itself alive from heat and friction when filled to spec, thus why people overfill via the shift tower. a couple more quarts will save a few grand on a rebuild
  7. same here in denver they took all of 15th st parking lane and made it bike friendly...
  8. gave south bend a call and for $325 for pn HYD-X-1.50 98'-02' brian said the bores are larger on both ends and has a steel braided line/ adjustable shaft. the valair from another place is about $280
  9. yeah the feather is very narrow but the clutch holds like glue!
  10. dont fret i smoke out tailgaters all the time and dont care. better than brake check that can get you in trouble or speeding up that will get you a ticket.smoke em if ya got em!
  11. so it was sooner or later that my master cylinder for the clutch would start to leak from having a stronger pressure plate installed with the valair clutch. i didnt have the funds to swap it out but now i have to and will get parts from somewhere soon. anyone have any suggestions?
  12. those heater grid relays can wear and stick over time, i had one stay closed and started getting real hot! check those out as well.
  13. i had this issue with water being forced into mine and sloshing breaking bulbs. i drilled a small hole in the bottom but eventually the lens yellowed and looked like crap now i got projector unit replacements and hid. i can see!!!
  14. do you have the smaller pulley on the pump? id like to have higher pressure and flow on mine. i have the larger pump pulley right now.
  15. i could take the spring out of the return valve from the fuel boss and shim it to get more pressure to push through the overflow valve in the vp.

  17. i do 6 qts also to keep 6th gear bearings lubed
  18. talking with the owner of fuel boss he informed me of this occurrence with hot fuel so i wasnt surprised to see 13 at idle when hot but 16-19 cold at idle. as long as pressure increases with rpm yer good!
  19. fuel temp change will do this, when its real hot ill see it drop to 13ish and fluctuate but pick right back up under throttle.
