  5. so a local shop does full rebuilds on turbos for appx $350. imma get the turbos rebuilt and have a good spare. -------- Hi Randy, For an HX35W, the starting rate for a rebuild on this turbocharger is $350.00. The $350.00 includes all new bearing, seals, bolts, thrust bearing, thrust collar and new clamps. We test your actuator to make sure it is within spec. We will check for shaft straightness to make sure it is a completely level surface. All the housings (Compressor, turbine & bearing) are all placed in ultrasonic cleaners. Then they are bead blasted and glass blasted as well. They will then be sent back into the sonic cleaners once more to make sure all of the blast material is out of them. The bearing housing then gets honed and the other housings coated. The turbine wheel gets polished and then re-balanced with the compressor wheel. Then the unit will be re assembled. If we find anything out of spec that we do not feel comfortable using, such as a housing and or wheel, we will price it out for replacement of that part or give you the option of how you want to further pursue the rebuild. Please contact me if you have any further questions, Thanks Mackenzie Flynn Turbocharger Product Manager Phone: (303) 428-3611 Ext: 205 Fax: (303) 428-6785 E-mail: mflynn@centralmotivepower.com Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/CentralMotivePower ----------- mods if anything needs to be removed let me know?
  6. ill need to have a spare one of these in the truck box in case!
  7. battery chargers put a forced charge on the batteries causing heat and some chemical reaction causing bubbles to form on the plates that directly displaces water. gas also vents too. when the vehicle is running, the alternator "floats" the vehicles load over the batteries. the batteries are not being drained as the power is going to the vehicle through the battery. this is why you see on DC power plants with battery backup a "float" or "charge" switch. if the batteries are discharged below 100% the rectifiers will increase output to supply a charge current to batteries plus power the equipment tied to the battery string. same thing happens with a vehicle but its controlled automatically by the ecu and alternator. clear as mud?

  12. i will say this. having traveled to europe and a few other places, there is a HUGE and i mean massive difference between american blacks and human beings from africa or of african decent. never have i met a person of african decent outside of the us and not from the us behave as the thugs and gangbangers of america do. your daughter should recognize this difference, because i sure can. when people act like civilized human beings there is no color to me.
