  1. yup start it up get oilflow and then easily drive it till temp is up, this is what i do when dead cold not plugged in. plugged in i do the same but drive normally once out of driveway
  2. that unit attached to the injection pump gear seems to be a timed hydraulic or pneumatic actuator that pushes the exhaust valve down at the right time and triggered by a switch, it activates on the next piston that is just coming down past TDC on power stroke which releases the compressed air from cylinder. at same time fuel should be cut off when the power to the unit is applied. this is my theory of how the unit works.
  3. if the oil is leaking on the intake side. it will get sucked into the engine causing runaway. exhaust side oil seal will just keep blowing more and more white/blue smoke.
  4. ear to ear grin mike!!! would love to put this on my rig!
  5. things i think of..if it is white smokeleaking injectors weeping into the cylinders pissing injectors when under accelerationblue smokeworn ringsweeping valve seals letting oil accumulate somewhereworn exhaust side turbo seal
  6. duramax, 8 pistons with more surface areas to waterjacket=less warm up time cummins, 6 pistons less surface area to the waterjacket= more warm up time. try plugging in the block heater couple hours before u depart, warm up will be less than 10 min
  7. actually there is a great guy in greeley, he goes by the name of "laser bob" (970) 356-6444 he works mostly on dodge cummins and most cummins small engines. he is a good guy to talk to and seems to know his stuff. i got my injector tube orings from him. he does transmissions as well
  8. this makes since if im understanding it right, if the cam and gear walked forward and being the gears are helical cut, it would throw the cam off time by a little bit that would make the idle rough.
  9. i run raptor 150 for about 4 years now, no problems aside from occasional pressure adjustment

  15. i think aliens took him away
  16. ive always made a habit of tapping the intake tube with my hand just to get any dirt out, sorry to hear of the messup mike but it happens
  17. check grounds and battery terminals for corrosion. also check battery fluid, put volt meter on while running see if yer charging good.
  18. i wasnt sure if it was bars leaks but there is something that isnt meant for permanent fix as it will wear the veins of the water pump down or something like that
  19. i heard bars leaks will tear up a water pump if left in there and not flushed? that is if the problem is never repaired.
  20. you may want to look at any play on the axle side of the TB mount. a wallered mount hole will give death wobble
