  1. The CP3 needs "flow" vs. "pressure". Big difference.
  2. That don't look like the vehicle in your "signature"!!! If'n you're going for a "heart/lung" shot.............be sure to aim more toward the head of the animal than you think necessary. The bulk of elk heart/lung area is hidden nicely behind the bulk of the shoulder!!! Bow hunting..................a slightly quartering away shot is the ideal!!!!
  3. Not much activity there, hey!!! http://competitiondiesel.com Try these guys!!
  4. Remember; pictures, or it never happened!!! Good luck to you!!!
  5. I think this should be in the 2nd gen section, if this is the truck in your signature.
  6. On the 3rd gens, often times. the extra weight of those big bumpers puts the front of the truck over the front axle weight rating.
  7. Did you do any of the "deletes" on your 6.7??? If so, how do you like it??
  8. With the "price" of commodities now................it's way cheaper to burn wood!!!
  9. What truck are those pix taken from CajFlynn???
  10. Can I get a jar of preserves sent to me??? My mouth is watering looking at them pix!!
  11. My Smarty Revo doesn't "smoke" either just goosing the throttle while not moving!!!! Just saying...............................don't know what you were expecting either!!! The Smarty fuels down low, but you ain't gonna blow smoke until you built some boost. And please don't "blow smoke", just to "blow smoke"......................................as it make all diesel truck guys look bad in this era of "greenies"!!!! The only time I "blow smoke" is passing a slower vehicle. And I "ease" into the throttle.................but once the OEM turbo goes, I can "fog" a road..................not make it impassible!!!!!! My truck does not "blot out the sun" with smoke............................but I CAN make it do so.............
  12. Birch and poplar trees around my area......................NE Illinoiz/SE Wisconsin..........................are starting to drop leaves. My apple tree is dropping leaves also!! I usually don't see this until mid-September!!!!!! I dunno guys??!!
  13. Not doubting.............just saying!!! Hail call for AH64ID!!!!!!
  14. Rancherman; I've been running this MotorGuard TP bypass oil filter since about 30,000 miles on my truck. The TP doesn't break down in oil like it does in water. One of the best filtering medias out there. From the first oil change on my truck, I ran SuperTech. Then I got the MotorGuard TP bypass setup and ran SuperTech without a complete oil change for 82,000 miles per 2500 mile TP and 1qt make up oil added. SuperTech is not new to my truck.
  15. Hey Michael, if Ranchman is gonna post videos, a Mopar1973Man T-shirt and decal are in order!!! They'd look good on them big fenders wouldn't they??!! Rancherman.....................must've been nerve racking to take instructions from a couple of "fat boys" with beers in their hands!!!! They look like beers anyway!!!!!
  16. When I used to frequent pulls, the turbines never seemed to pull as far as the diesels or the blown gassers.
  17. Did some routine maintenance yesterday. Changed the OEM FF and the GDP 2 micron secondary FF. I also changed the engine oil and filters. Went with my usual oil filter LF3972 and a Scott 1000 roll of TP. Only difference is that I went back to WallyWorld SuperTech 15W40. I had been using Valvoline Premium Blue for the last few years because I found a great deal on it after I had the "timing cover" gasket replace several years ago................and bought a "stash" of it for cheaper than the SuperTech. I've got 211,5xx on the clock on MightyWhitey; and I see no reason to change my complete yearly changes with a TP change and a quart of "make-up" oil half way thru that time as I was doing with the VPB. What think y'all???
  18. When I bought my Smarty Revo SO6, there was not a Smarty version out yet for the '03-'04 trucks. John, AH64ID, would know better than I though. Hopefully he'll chip in here shortly.
  19. Is it a new or used Smarty??? Reason I ask, is that there is the Smartys for the 0.4.5-'07's 325HP 600ft.lb. engines and a Smarty for the '03-'04 305hp 555ft.lbs. engines. Maybe you have the wrong one??
  20. Just went past 57,000 miles on my Cooper Discoverer AT3's!! Based on the wear to date, I should get an easy 80,000 out of them. Not arguing...........just Jewish!!!
  21. For the simple fact that............how many "quick-lube" shops are there out there???? All of which "promote" a certain brand of oil. Not the best oil...........per opinion.................but the oil sponsored by the establishment. Has anyone here ever heard of an "engine' failure due to "brand of oil used"?????
  22. With all due respect to everyone here; IMNTBHO, it really doesn't matter what engine oil you use...........................just make sure you change it on a regular basis or do "oil analysis" to extend it. Amsoil.................SuperTech...............doesn't matter.
  23. I'd be, making sure that the CAD was working also.
  24. I started a thread a while back entitled "Is My Arse Getting Bigger, or the TP Getting Smaller". The TP is getting smaller in width and thickness. Standard used to be 4.5" wide...........which is the tube width. Now most are down to 4.0-4.1" in width. I don't know that it matter so much as long as you get a tight fit. The tube is also getting a bit larger in inside diameter. To compensate for that, I use empty tubes on the inside of fresh TP roll to fill the space up. Saw on the TV a few days ago, that one manufacturer of TP is advertising TP with no tube at all!!!
  25. Or 3 on the pillar..........which I have.
