2016 Silverado
Approaching 21,000 miles at just under 11 months old now. 3rd oil change will be coming shortly. No problems at all. I've had my retriever clubs trailer in tow several times now............about 8000lbs..............with the air bags, it's not a problem.

Ecm apps help
Hope you get this figured out. The reason I traded off MightyWhitey was due to APPS codes that I couldn't get a handle on. I couldn't have an essentially unreliable truck with Dad having health issues etc. APPS issues are a *****.

2016 Silverado
Back from Louisiana yesterday. Around 2250 miles in all on the trip. Averaged between 20-20.5mpg for all the tanks of fuel running 70mph on the Interstates. Never had the wind behind me on this trip again; but at least I wasn't driving straight into it, as it always seemed to be a crosswind. 18,41x miles on her now. Drove great. I do miss the Cummins torque going up hills however.

I drop in at least every other day and scan things. Been kind of quiet here; save for the MoparMom stuff and all. Tell her "HI" for me. Later.

2016 Silverado
Have just under 16,000 miles on her now. Bought on July 13, 2016. I've done 2 oil changes and 1 tire rotation so far. Been averaging anywhere from 16-21mpg. She's made 2 trips to Orlando, FL and back. 1 week long trip to Paducah, KY and back. 1 weekend trip to Stevens Point, WI and back. 1 weekend trip to eastern Iowa and back. And that's not counting the trailer towing/work I have/do here!! So far, so good on this truck!!

My APPS issue on MightyWhitey popped up in Hot/Humid weather. I believe it was a sensor that shared the "line" with the APPS that was causing my issue. But I didn't have time nor the knowledge to start pulling apart the wiring harness for the engine to find the cause. Good luck!!- Great Songs
The lyrics in song are even more poignant now vs. when it was written/released!!!- Headlight Bulbs
Taz; I used Sylvanias, but in all honesty, I couldn't tell the difference in brightness from their "cheap" bulbs to their "expensive" bulbs.- Fellow Wood Burners

Southern NoDak??!!- AC Ripple Test
I thought "AC Ripple" was a new brand of "cheap wine"!!!!- New heat pump system
The benefits of adding attic insulation will be obvious shortly after you start heating................either with the HP or the stove. Don't recall the actual % on average; but most of the heat loss in a home goes UP, unless your doors and windows and walls have gaps in them!!! My NG thermostat is set at 58*F. My wood stove will keep my house comfy in all but the EXTREME COLD.............but on those days I don't work and can keep the stove rolling. I still keep the NG thermostat at 58*F on my monthly trips to FL in the Winter. I close down the air vents to rooms that don't have water running to them...................when the furnace does kick on then, it'll heat the water fed rooms. Even coming home from FL when it's been 0ish outside, my house is still in the mid '50's. And like Mike said................with the wood stove cranking, it does take a while for the whole house to warm up to the '70's from the '50's!!- New heat pump system
$$$$$$- New heat pump system
Heat pumps work well in climates or conditions that are Moderate. If you try pushing the heating or the cooling; they struggle. Several friends have them in their homes, and hate them. One said our heat pump keeps us cold in the Winter and hot in the Summer!!!! Your situation with the wood stove though...........it should be fine.- Perplexing....
Yeah; but it's called "weather" for a reason..............it varies!!!! Now it was almost 60*F here today................were it like that for a week straight and then hit 85*F...........I may....................MAY be worried. Look out further than your hand guys!!!- Reliability just tanked this morn.
That "module" that I have to keep my new Chevy Silverado out of V-4 mode has a history/reputation of draining a battery if kept "plugged" in for more the 3/4/5 days without starting. I only use it when I know I'm gonna be a long time highway driving. Don't know if'n this applies, but I just thought I'd toss it to you!!- Getting older...
So you have tape on the bathroom floor as to how far you can make it again!!! - 06 Cummins dead pedal
