Here's a few pix for y'all. I got my deck in back shoveled. When I first tried to open my garage door, I couldn't. I had to put some "oomph" into it. Got opened and I'm staring at a 4.5 foot vertical wall of snow!!! Dudes, I've never seen it snow so hard for so long now.When I got up the AM, it was snowing. Twas snowing when I drove to work, and it was still snowing when I got home about 1:15PM. 1:16PM I started shoveling about 5-6" of "lake effect" snow...........however about 5 minutes into the job, the snow stopped. I finished shoveling the drive and the deck.........so I went and got some "adult beverages"!!!Fast forward 1.5 hours...........started snowing real, real hard, and hasn't let up at all. The wind is out of the NE off Lake Michigan.............40-50mph gusts!!!! It's just dumping snow on the West side of my house like you wouldn't believe!!! I'm estimating that there's about 4+ feet of snow on the stoop in front of my front door!!!!! I can only see the neighbors yard lights it's snowing so hardI'll take plenty of pix in the AM. Gotta let the dogs out...........gotta watch them to make sure they find their way back!!!!

I was just "saying", I wasn't "arguing"!!!!! OK, it was the SVX...............I was in the passenger seat at about 130mph...............I didn't like it..............mostly because I wasn't driving, and I wasn't in control!!!!!!!! Since Russ has ruled out Subaru...............the best 4x4 vehicle I've ever driven and driven off road has been a '94 Toyota 4Runner hands down, no comparison!!!!!! I took that bad boy elk hunting to where I wouldn't consider taking my '99 or my '04.5!!!!!! But they're harder to get in and out of than both of my Rams!!!

You still have to admit though...........that the stocker turbo in the 04.5+ trucks does a pretty damn good job for about 95% of all applications!!!:smart: It ain't perfect, but it's pretty well "rounded"!!!!

What about something by Subaru??! They've gotten their AWD/4x4 systems down pretty well now. Plus they make/made the SRX or some alphabet soup like that..............that would do about 180mph with 4wd capabilities!! One of my Buds had one and loved it!! He wasn't a "truck" guy. If he needed a truck, he called me and bought beer!!!

The pix that I saw on CompD had the '03-'04 and 6.7 liter pistons looking like your middle picture. While the 04.5+ were more like the bottom picture. Not arguing, just saying!!

The quote here is pertaining to you last sentence. I know there is a piston difference between the '03-'04 CR's vs. the '04.5+ CR's in 5.9 liter. I read about that in a long drawn out discussion on CompD. Too long to go into here. What are the differences from the 2nd gens into the 3rd gens as far as piston design goes??? That's one I don't know about. Thanks!!

Is that in an essentially "stock" truck???? How big is that tranny????? What's the OD ratio in that bad boy?? The NV5600 is big and heavy..........that one has to be larger and heavier. Will it fit without any cutting??? CajFlynn should look into that hauling those multiple big assed yachts all over the country!!!!

I take it that this is just a monitor then???? There's no programming for HP and Torque increases??? When I ran the Edge J w/A, the monitor always performed flawlessly with whatever parameters I wanted monitored. I took it out after I got the Smarty because I also put in hard gauges and I didn't like the idea that even on "stock" Edge programming, the truck was still using the Edge pigtail injector loops while I had the Smarty downloaded. I liked the Juice...........good power, but ran Hot when you got on it.

Full tank, half tank, or empty tank?????? If it happens more as your fuel gets lower, it could be something along the lines of that your draw straw/pickup tube is too short or is moving around in the tank.Your gauge could be going out. When you slow down/hit the brakes, does the gauge needle fall in the direction of the front of the truck???Could be a bad ground like said above that is affecting the pump itself.......or if electrical gauge it could be affecting the sender.

The 3rd gen upgrade is the way to go IMHO. You don't have a "ball joint" on one end to wear out. The 3rd gen have two bushings, and if you get the urethane bushings, they are essentially bullet proof.

Well, it's less than 1 hour from the kick off for the midwest superbowl. Who do y'all like and why???? I think it'll be a close game with a lot of carnage and hard hits. The field and Soldier Field always sucks.............this time of year it's just painted dirt!!! My prediction, 24-20 Da Bears and Aaron Rodgers doesn't finish the game!!!

The house my Mom grew up in......Gramma and Grampas house didin't have an indoor crapper until the early 1950's also. That's Cook county Illinois also. The same county Chicago is in!!!!
