Two in one: MPG and cool weather update
Is it possible that a PO lived in a very cold climate? It's sounds like it's PCM driven to keep from damaging an engine with cold cold oil to me. I don't think I would worry about it, unless it worsens. It could be one of the add ons not sealing something correctly, until there is some warmth present. Call Dodge and see if the had an extreme weather flash, that would cause your engine to act that way.

Help with Turbo problems 6.7 07
iirc Dodge had problems with the VGT type turbo. Did a dealer fix it opr an independant? The biggest turbo killer seems to be the egr valve. I read about a simple fix, without violating an emissions inspection, was to stick a thin round slug in the connection at the front of the EGR cooler, where it connects to the tube that runs around the front of the engine to the EGR valve. This cuts out any exhaust making it to the EGR valve, and back into the engine. There are no deletes anywhere. The computer thinks all is well. The fuel milage goes up, supposedly.

Well my no start problem is back
Well crap, it's back. The no crank issue reared it's head this morning. It did the delay before crank, when I started it this morning. So when I got to work, I did a series of starts, while holding the key in a different position in the switch. With the key all the way in and pressed down on the fob so that the end of the key was raised to the top of the switch. It did the no crank. So holding the key again in different positions, I repeated trying to start the truck. No Go, so I let it set for 5 mins, and it started right up. So I'm thiunking that one of the tumblers in the lock is sticky????Anybody with knowledge of the ignition switch internals, have an opinion?

05 Cam sensor 341 code will not go away!!!!
This would worry me abit, and the root cause of the bent pushrod, may also be the cause of your erratic signal.

Coolant Temp sensor with factory gauge
I would think that a simple, make up of brass fittings would, work for this. Instead of necking down your wanting to go bigger. Screw in a short threaded pipe into the head and a reducer fitting screwed to the short pipe. Failing that drill and tap the head for the bigger sensor, using grease and a magnet to catch most of the filings.

13 rules of gunfighting
Ahhhh Dorkweed, you did not just play the block card???????????? Although they have a great rep. for going bang when you pull the trigger. They still suffer spring fatigue in the mags just like ever other auto/semi auto. they can and will FTF, FTE if neglected, in a drawer for months years on end. My only qualifier that made the revolver the best choice, was the fact that they can and will function 100% of the time without periodic maintenance, if stored in a climate controled house, there is no manual of arms, in case of a no fire cartridge, you simply pull the trigger again. If your in law enforcement a block is the firearm of choice. If you are a firearms enthusiast, a semi auto is a fine choice for home defence. For others that realize that, hey I need some protection, a revolver is the weapon of choice. Most often taken home put in a drawer and promptly forgotten about. Not trying to pick a fight here, just being practical. I'm a 1911 man myself, even with it's complicated manual of arms. If I was in law enforcment, it would be a Glock.

Well my no start problem is back
New Mopar batterys 1 week old, checked 12.89 volts when it wouldn't turn the starter over. Cleaned cable connections, and ohmed them out. Neutral safty switch installed new 3 weeks ago, if that long. Was checked at the dealer, and it checked good. Ignition switch is my guess at this point in time but it checked out OK, while at the dealer. Brand new (not rebuilt) Bosch starter, last week in May. Could be bad, but ohms out as good to go. Amp draw is within spec. for new starter. TIPM (PDC) replaced along with starter. Don't know about relay. There may be new parts that are bad, but until it goes all the way bad. There is no way to know, unless it sets a DTC.

Converting a Dodge RAM 1999 ram 5.9 fuel pump wiring harness to Dodge RAM 2500
I hope it will work although it may not due to different viscousities of the two fluids. Theres for sure a reason or they would all be the same pump. Will it even fit in the tank, and seal up?

13 rules of gunfighting
It's never a bad idea to have one in every room in the house. If your on one side of the house and your guns on the other, and the bad guys are between you and the gun, your up the proverbial creek. Remember a hand gun is so you can fight your way to the long guns. A .22 is better than a rock and so is a knife. Take the misses and kid(s) shooting, if the don't go already. The next time you may not be home!! Revolvers are the penultimate for handgun protection. They can lay in a drawer, loaded for decades (climate controled environment) and never need looking after, you don't even have to rotate mags, like you do with an automatic. Lights with motion sensors are the best deterent, They go on and off as needed and don't waste energy. Most likely they won't be back, now that you have confronted them. They now know your are vigulant. Still they had to know about the place somehow. Could they have been using it for some time and you just now noticed? Is it possible that they were there to pick up a teenager of yours for a midnight joy ride? Good luck

Adding winch to my 14k gn trailer questions
Thanks for the replies. A battery on the trailer was my original idea. The problem I see with that is, I pull the trailer once or twice a month, April through Oct.. Where I park the trailer there is no possibility of electricity for a bat, tender between hook ups, and enough of a pain in the butt. That hooking and unhooking the batteries between uses would see me leaving the battery at home. The use is also an occasional maybe once a year possibility. Just want to be able to pull a tractor that won't run up on the trailer. It's a sticky mess, that would be best solved, by using the on board truck batts. That way I don't have to have a battery that never works when I need it once a year if that.Is the problem the length and size of cabling that I would need to do this, or something else? These winches were designed to be wired directly to a vehicals electrical system, and not ruin the system it is hooked into.

Adding winch to my 14k gn trailer questions
I've got the engineering worked out, on how to mount it using Cat V receiver parts. The problem I'm struggling with is how to power the thing with enough juice to load something that won't run. It's a 10k winch, and I want to be able to power it using the tow vehical batteries. I have all the welding lead for cable that I could possible need to do the job. My questions would be: How do I hook it up to the batteries? What should I use for terminal connectors at the back of the truck, and coming off the winch on the trailer.

'06 and later water pump change the easy way.
That's good to know. My problem was I bought a second hand vehical. So I just have to roll with the punches till it's all straightened out.
