  1. Take some pictures for us, please!!!
  2. Future mods are:-BHAF-Straight pipe-SGII or Ultragauge, or if I win the lottery, an Edge CTS. ()Dream mods:-Upgraded steering and suspension (you name the part, I want it replaced)-Airbags-5" exhaust-7x.085 or 7x.009 injectors-Clutch
  3. Only been locked out once, but I do the same thing. A few weeks ago my dad dropped his cell phone down behind the gauge cluster on the tractor. Between the two of us it only took about 15 minutes to fish it out.
  4. First thing I would do is check and see if there's any trouble codes. Next I would install a fuel pressure gauge. Search this website, and you'll find what you need.
  5. Got my new regulator from Stefan, (it's kinda like the Airdog regulators - ball & spring) and I got it adjusted about as good as I'm gonna get it. When I first start the truck, I got about 14 1/2 PSI, and then it'll settle at about ~13 PSI idle. Going through the gears, it's hard to get the pressure past 21 or 22 PSI. 3rd gear at 2,500 RPM it was at 25 PSI, so it's not that bad. . .
  6. Pretty sure my gauge is throwing an accurate number at me. . . At least it better be. (BTW, this was last summer, and the stock LP has been disconnected an a mechanical pump installed)
  7. Ouch!!!My pressure was 5 PSI idle, and 0 PSI WOT, with 80,000 miles on the stock lift pump. :duh:Are you using a snubber or needle valve before your sensor?
  8. You're already hurting your new VP44. Bump that up to 20 PSI, and don't let it drop below 14 PSI. And yes, a big line kit will help. Order it from Jamie at Cummins Performance Parts.
  9. Did you do your research before you bought Glowshift gauges?Just depends on how familiar you are with that kind of stuff. 2-4 hours.
  10. These are vids, click on 'em and they'll play: I've only done this once - I wish I could do it every day: I got a few more pics to throw on here later. . .
  11. Minus the job and the wife, I pretty much do what CSM does, on a day to day basis anyway. . . I'll get some pics or vids up a little later of some of my hobbies.
  12. An over boost code will be thrown at ___ amount of boost. The fooler fools the ECM so it won't throw a code at higher boost levels.
  13. Go for it. :thumbup2:A lot of people do it.
  14. I asked at my local NAPA, and they wanted about $80 for a 6637. I'm just gonna order a 42790 from Wix, for about ~$50. . .
  15. Assassin is way better, as far as the plumbing kit goes. Not at all. I haven't heard of anyone having hard starts because of the lift pump. The trucks busts off just as quick, if not quicker than a truck with an electric lift pump, along with an immediate positive pressure reading.
  16. Just rebuild it.It's probably just one simple seal causing the leak.
