  1. A friend of mine has all the same codes, and his is a 5 speed. Turns out it was a 5 speed swap.
  2. Lift pump pressure is too low. It needs to be above 10 PSI; ideally, between 14-20 PSI at all times. The 100 GPH pump is plenty for a stockish truck, although Airdog/Raptor have not been the most reliable pumps lately. . .
  3. If it's a direct replacement FASS, look just below and to the rear of the fuel filter housing and you should find your pump. If it's a FASS 95 or FASS 150, look on the frame rail for the pump, and it should have a set of filters.
  4. Great looking truck!Welcome to the family.
  5. It looks way better sitting there! It was that green here back in early March. . . Just had to rub it in.
  6. +400K miles is a lot. I wish stock injectors were crappy. . . I need an excuse to upgrade. http://www.dieselautopower.com/Diesel_injectors_24v_p/dap%20injectors%2098-02.htm
  7. I'm skinny enough I can fit inside the wheel well, or if need be, inside the fender itself. It makes reaching those hoses a lot easier.
  8. I thought all big line kits came with a tapped elbow?Cut your 1/2" line between the VP and the filter housing. install a tee with 1/2" push loc fittings, and on the "tee" side, adapt down to 1/8" NPT, and stick a compression fitting on it.
  9. Why not just cycle the lift pump, and bleed the air at the VP inlet???
  10. Only way to roll. . .
  11. In or out? :stirthepot::stirthepot:
  12. From what I see in the picture, your delete pipe fits inside of the stock exhaust. What size is it?I'm just stupid, but I'm afraid if I buy a 3" piece of pipe, it will be the exact same size as the stock exhaust pipe, and it won't fit inside of the other pipe. I guess I could break out the measuring tape.
  13. You mean you didn't throw a 5" system on there. . . :moon:Well, I've got ya beat. . . The 15 year-old clamps on our truck are still usable.
  14. No sir - 3.54, NV4500.
  15. 1,250* is max! I've heard no more then 1,250* for 30 seconds.Bone stock, (muffled exhaust, stock intake) on a slight incline cruising at 60, about 2,000, maybe 2,100 on the tachometer, pulling 8,000 lbs, I saw 950* for a few seconds, and then I topped the hill, and they fell back to ~700*. :thumbup2:EDIT: After I put the BHAF on, I pulled the same hill with the same weight, and EGT's were about ~50* cooler.
  16. I'm a big flatbed fan, but not the style of flatbed that was on his truck.
  17. Seriously, that was an ugly flatbed. :sick:Truck looks real good!
  18. Both pulleys are 16 pitch. (1:1 ratio)Fuel is filtered after the Assassin, in the stock canister.
  19. Here's how I run the belt on the Assassin: ^^^ Click the picture.
  20. Comin' up on 82,000 miles. . .
  21. Only 61 miles!!!!!!!!!!!! :stuned:
  22. Looks like a pretty good source for parts. When you get the tubing, I'd like to know the quality of it. If it's comparable to the NAPA air brake line, or if it's like the cheap stuff that comes with gauge kits.I'm also needing to re-plumb my gauge, and NAPA was out of the air brake line the other day, so I might just order it from MCM, if it is good quality.
