  2. I guess I should update y'all.Got the Assassin on. 7 1/2 PSI at idle and 20 PSI at 1,500 RPM, and at 2,000 RPM pressure hits 23-24 PSI and jumps around. (I know that's too high) So far there's no leaks and everything looks good.I will be contacting DTT and getting a larger pulley to put on the pump, which will bring up idle pressure, and then I will trim down the regulator spring so it'll max out at 20 PSI or so. . .
  3. Alright, I'll let y'all know. . . When I get it on. . . Which may be a while. . .
  4. Yeah, this thing should be bullet proof. I just hope I install it right. :lmao:I'm having some trouble with draw straw stuff, but I'll get it worked out. This is all a first for me.
  5. I want another wood stove so bad. . . They heat way better than a regular fireplace too.
  6. I love my DiPricols and Isspro. :thumbup2:Never really been a fan of white gauges with a stock black gauge cluster. . .
  7. I appreciate the input, but I already ordered the DTT Assassin. It should be here tomorrow. Thanks anyway.
  8. I think it's been over 100* only once or twice this summer. Now last summer it wasn't nothing to see 110* nearly everyday through July and August. It's been a relatively cool, wet summer for us. (I'm 50 miles north of Houston)But last summer this state looked like a fried egg, and some parts of it still do.
  9. This is awesome, Ryan. :thumbup2:Heck of a deal, and I hope all the work goes smooth for you. Take it from this kid, and I know many others will agree, but it don't get no better than shifting your own gears, especially in a Cummins.
  10. Yours truly got 'em. . . So tow mirrors are in the near future for me. . .
  11. I just had a thought. If I have a boost bolt installed, I can't do this mod without running PVC all over the engine bay to go around the boost bolt. Now if I had Michael's setup to get a boost reading, it wouldn't be a problem. But I think I'll keep the boost bolt for now.Plus, I don't think this truck has a puke bottle anyway. . .
  12. Not to hijack, but where are y'all tying in at to power the EGT gauge? I've been wondering where the best place is?
  13. The sad thing is, there's not an option in this poll for me! But what do you expect with a stock LP. 5 1/2 PSI at idle and I bet y'all can guess what it is at WOT? :banghead: ZERO!!!So the truck is parked in the barn, no more hauling cows or hauling feed until a new LP is on. So here's my situation - (if y'all care to read) The truck is actually the cows truck, just me and my dad drive it. And what I mean by that is that the cows have calves, we sell them, and that money puts fuel in the truck and pays for repairs. So it's a pretty dern tight income, so we need to go the cheapest route for a LP, but of course we need a very reliable LP, so that's why I'm thinking FRRP? The only thing that worries me is the reliable part of the FRRP; I've heard good and bad about it. I'm also thinking I can chip in some of my own money and shoot for an AD 150. I'm also thinking about the DTT Assassin? But I haven't read enough about it to consider it an option?I will be seeking y'all's help on this, and I will probably start a thread on the Cummins Forum to get all the opinions I can. . .Thanks
  14. Yeah, I guess that's not hot. IDK what I was thinking. . .
  15. Runnin' a little hot?
  16. I'll be dang.I'm gonna post this on the Cummins Forum.
  17. My friend used them when when they had one of their deals going on and he doesn't like it at all. Alot of overspray and what not, and some paint is starting to chip. That was about 4 years ago when he had it done.
  18. At least I can say I modded something.
  19. God that's bad rust! I'm glad you got it worked out.
