  1. You were probably already at your axle rating so it's probably best that you didn't.
  2. 4BT will be fun. Your fuel pressure gauge is still alive and kickin'!
  3. Dang, I was hoping to see that thing hit 2 million.
  4. Dang he's changed a lot of VP's! Has he hit 2 million yet?
  5. He's been on Cummins Forum a lot... And I've been wondering about 98whitelightnin.
  6. Just get you a 7x.009 SAC injector, quite worrying about whether one is "25 HP" bigger than the other. From what I've heard, DFI makes a great injector (right up there with DAP and CPP) but they are a smaller company, and I've heard 1 or 2 complaints about slow shipping, but let me repeat, that's only 1 or 2 complaints. Most peope are very satisfied with them.
  7. You shift from 2nd to 4th, then to overdrive? Never seen anyone do that before?
  8. Not to go off-topic, but speaking of dead pedal, I finally installed a Timbo APPS today! No more dead pedal!
  9. That's the Titanium version. They discountinued the Platinum series pumps. (single filter)
  10. But Mike has what we call an "old school" Airdog 150. The new ones are junk - although a few people have good luck with them, I wouldn't risk spending $600 on a pump that is more than likely going to crap out. I recommend a FASS Titanium 150 GPH lift pump.
  11. Post #124 in that thread says it bolts directly onto a stock T3 manifold.
  12. Ahem... VA has HILLS, not MOUNTAINS!
  13. Not sure if this will have an answer to your question, but there's a ton of information here: http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98-5-02-performance-parts-discussion/151365-he351-retrofit-second-gen.html
  14. So that means all those parts listed (VP, ECM, etc) have been removed before... Interesting. There's a Chrysler sticker underneath the hood on our rig, and it's dated Feb. 1999, and it just says, "reflashed ECM." The truck was exactly a year old in Feb. '99.
  15. Our '98.5 doesn't look anything like that. There's not even a vent there.
  16. And the blow by tube is where the vent exits, I guess you could say...
  17. Check out Cummins Performance Parts.com.

  19. We don't bale our own, but we buy round bales. We usually end up with 4x5 rolls, but we try to get the 5x6. 2 summers ago I helped a friend pick his hay up. There was 3 or 4 of us, and we hauled 1,400 bales from the field to the barn in 2 days. That was some work right there. It was the first week of August too... 100*- 102* outside.
  20. I usually eat breakfast first thing, so that means I was sleeping before breakfast. Starting at 6AM, I cleaned up the dozen or so oak trees I cut down at a lady's house a couple days ago. Did that til mid afternoon.
  21. Not sure if it's true, but I read that you should use 5 or 6 hole injectors for 12 valves, and 6, 7, or 8 hole in the 24V, just because the cup in the piston is different?? Like I said, not sure if that's true or not. Maybe someone can explain.
  22. MoparDave, '01 and '02 automatic trucks have the HY35. '98.5-'00 autmatics, and all standard trans trucks have the HX35. The HY35 has a 9cm exhaust housing, while the HX has a 12cm housing. The smaller housing means EGT's will climb faster when more fuel is thrown at the fire. Since you have a 47RE, that is what needs to be addressed first. Is it completely stock? If so, you're going to need to throw some money into so it will hold the power you're wanting to throw at it.
  23. Run those "75's" with your HX35, and control your EGT's with your programmer. What is your boost at WOT?
  24. Ouch!!! You can get you a another truck with a good body for that price.
