  2. I didn't need to change the belt. I had my regulator apart to shim it. The shim was enough, but I just thought I'd stretch the spring just a little, you know, nothing major... Well I was pressed for time, and I didn't start the truck to check the pressure. The next morning I get in the truck to take a 2 hour trip, and it idled at 13-14 PSI or so, and under light throttle, my pressure gauge was pegged. I had to pull over a couple of times to cut the spring down to get my pressure right.
  3. Here's a guy's truck over on CumminsForum: I put a Boss Hog on last summer... I can easily get anywhere in the engine compartment now.
  4. I always do, and luckily I never had to use them..... Except for once, and it was because of my stupidity.
  5. I would suggest a Fuel Boss, that way you actually have some customer service. I have an Assassin for sale, with 3,000 miles on it........ Jus' sayin'.
  6. I've ran into the same problem. I've filled out several job applications, and get to the end and it says, "must be 18 or older."
  7. Can you post a picture of the turbo?
  8. If you're young like me, the oil pressure sensor is very easily accessed from underneath the truck, without removing any other parts. Been there done that...
  9. They're all on their ipads and video games... If we had any white stuff down here, I'd be shoveling as many driveways as I could to make a buck.
  10. My grandpa flew DC-3's......... No wonder my dad respects his elders!
  11. Use an SR-71, for those teenagers like me...
  12. Replaced the crank sensor a couple days ago. Easy job, and problem solved. Also installed a FASS 95 today! I swear I heard the VP44 say "thank you!"
  13. The beans were already spilled over on the CF? Or is this another 24V product?

  15. I've never done that........................... Yet!
  16. I don't understand putting a ton of money into a hunting trip. I mean, sure if you're rich, and you like hunting, spend the money to make a successful hunt. Now I love hunting, but if it cost me more than the meat is worth, I probably wouldn't hunt. I buy the license and maybe a few bags of corn, and some doe estrous, and that's it.
  17. Surely somebody on here hunts. Post up your kills. (or about your kills) I killed a handful of dove last year. (bad year) I got two deer; a doe, and a small 8 point buck. I also got a handful of ducks, (season ends on Sunday) and a handful of squirrels. I've noticed an increase in the population of woodcocks, but I didn't get a chance to hunt them.
  18. So when are you going to be able to repair our toasted VP44's??
  19. I forgot about the front seal. I knew that! Thanks!
  20. His signature says he has RV275's. 7x.010's run cooler than that on a stock truck.
  21. COOL STUFF! So I always heard that running over 20 PSI can "tear the diaphram," but since there is no diaphram, what can be damaged by slightly higher fuel pressure?? (say 25-30 PSI) Is it okay if I put a link to this thread in the "How the VP44 injections system works" thread on the Cummins Forum?
  22. I guess because of the pump mods? I would think 7x.012's would fit that 66 perfect.
