  1. what...in OK i think it is a law, Walmart has to be within so many miles of towns with population over 1100. since i started using it. i have only had to fill once without(because i was lazy and time was tight). i don't know of any station in OKC or TULSA that sells bio. a lot sell offroad and kerosene.
  2. that is an interesting trick....i have never heard that before...but since i do not own any automatic transmissions in any of the vehicles i own, maybe i never paid attention.
  3. if possible...you should try to move to frame rail...no matter what pump you buy. they won't be worked as hard(i believe thats why dodge started putting them in the tank) that is what i said...that is why i have an airdog, and not a raptor...my wife says i'm cheap...but i spent the extra so i would have to f*** with it later!
  4. learn from me...don't cut the filler neck...get the upgrade straw
  5. that is a very clean install on the switches and that front looks very good also
  6. rotf lmao! my wife and i noticed that a couple months back...when i was explaining to her what an injection pump was
  7. good to know...i was not trying to clear shelbyyoder5's check engine light...merely trying to help reset his apps....if i understand you correctly...that will reset the apps but not clear his CEL. thank you for the info but to clarify means the successful # of cold starts?
  8. i have read other's post that say if you touch the terminals you don't have to wait any time....i have not confirmed this on my dodge...but clears the CEL on my ranger(otherwise the ranger wait time is an hour).
  9. you have to disconnect your batteries first(both of them, then touch the positive clamp to the negative clamp, then connect them both, and turn key to on,not start, and push the pedal slowly thru to the floor).playing with the apps voltage is a minor bandage that sometimes causes more problems...so i have heard if the alternator is good, then try the ats trick.
  10. i give...what is monel?
  11. nice pics...gotta be quick with the cameraor have a stealthcam
  12. aww...i thought we would get one today.
  13. that is awesome! they know not to come on this side of the highway(thats my lease )
  14. i'm 95% sure mine is at least 4 yrs old...it was almost right against the front of the bed(you could barely get your fingers behind it)...i removed it to clean the bed out. there are only 2 rust spots on mine. the paint chipped off. you know... i had the topper over it until the back window broke
  15. i have a steel transfer tank...i think the brand is tradesman.....bought it with the truck.i had just removed it last month. me and the buddy were amazed at how light it really was.mine is just painted white
  16. when i pop my hood and everyone sees that BHAF.....everyones is like"whoa" or "did you pillage that off a CAT?". it lasts a long life and i am happy with mine...DROP INS SUCK!
  17. when i ordered mine...airdogs were on sale for $500(100s and 150s). raptors had just come out.....no one had one...and it was only $120 cheaper, besides i'm not doing alot of mods, but wanted 1/2" lines and water sep(now have 2)......after the free filter had picked up 15k miles i went to cummins great plains and bought the fleetguard 3microns for it(had to buy a case, because around here, no one but huston keeps them in stock). the water separator/prefilter, the pump, and the filters are top quality...i would not do anything but the drawstraw differently!
  18. believe me....i haven't stopped thinking that since you changed yours.... dieing for a split second....i could see that.....it feels like one cylinder didn't get fuel(or enough to pop) but the others do.... this my daily worker right now......... so....does this sound like the electrics are dieing on the vp? truck won't fit in garage so i will have to wait until the snow and ice melt to do more trouble shooting. thanks to everyone who has chimed in.....ohh and 1 says yes and 1 says no about that gauge....
  19. does that mean it is Rotella in a different bottle?
  20. i'm partial to what i got... the airdog is smaller than the fass...and simple to install. just use mopar1973man's tips if you are doin' the drawstraw......in fact if you do a fass or airdog system you should think about upgrading to the triple drawstraw. then you don't got to cut the filler neck!
  21. it goes to 100psi i was disappointed that nowhere on the box does it say "Not for diesel" but it is in bold and on of the first few lines..... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=92699
  22. i have my 99 CTD, a 00 ford ranger, 91 chevy caviler, and a 93 honda accord, and in the process of parting a 91 accord
  23. i am surprised to see more people over the proverbial hill than there are people under 30....and to think...i only thought old(er) people used the internet for porn! jk
  24. well maybe speed has nothing to do with it.....i was in a pizzahut and the wife was in the truck(parked in neutral)...she said that it tryed to die...well, "you know how when you turn it off. how it kinda runs out of fuel. that happened, and then it was like someone push the pedal". i assumed that was the anti-stall....i bought the arbor frieght $15 fuel pressure gauge.....opened it up and it says not for diesels....does anyone think it will hurt?
  25. yes. that is what i meant...thank you. how does the oil flow thru the "filter"? on the factory oil filter(direct flow) the oil fills the outside and flows thru the media to the center where it goes into the motor. the picts mopar1973man show makes it appear that it flows top down......am i making sense?
