i know its kinda late and i don't really know Chrysler motor's or trannys...but i have ALWAYS found a transmission parts store. they only sell transmission parts. usually only one to the "big city" but they will have better parts at better prices then advanced. i can't remember the name of the one in O'city, but in tulsa contact Lester's Gear & Automatic Parts.‎

errr....those suck....mine went quick...one day 100 miles from home i got the click click. a week goes by and it happened again. both times i cranked(well it never cranked until it fired) for 15mins! then a couple days later...i tried for hours and hours! my dodge is the daily driver and i had a contract to sign(another 130 mile trip). no one i could find around here had contacts. i can tell him a trick to get by without new ones. takes 15-20 minutes my write up is coming soon....(so lazy:punish:)

did they have ones for a 99? i just got that fuel heater hooked back up since airdog150 and i would hate to have to remove it later down the line.

what did you have in mind to test "specific gravity"?what does the "hydrometer" look like?

hold the phone...my mom had a late 90's lincoln towncar, with airbags. when the key was on...the bags would set the level.her husband is a big guy...maybe 300# and if he got in by himself the car was sitting "catawopass". after running for 30sec the whole car was level...front to back, side to side.it froze to hell here...could not leave the house for 3 days. when she started driving again...the back bags were shot...i suspect moisture from the compressor was in the bag before it broke.tractor-trailers use air bags all day long...for them to use them, they must be reliable and safe(and cheaper over the long haul)

ahhhh....that makes sense.i think i might do your high idle/3 cylinder idle trick soon. i like the idea of the grids running for longer periods on cold starts...i makes me think it will warm up faster.

where did you do all this? surely not at you apt.i showed the pics to my wife...after help clean the honda's motor....she knew how much work you had put in!

when i start mine (if i don't touch the pedal) i will go on(5sec), off(7sec),(5sec), off(7sec),etc.i judge their operation by the volt meter on the dash, by the sound of the motor and lights going dim.(am i wrong?)but when i hold the rpms at 1k-1200, the heaters are accurate to mopar1973man's list.does this indicate a problem? my batteries are fresh and i don't have any parasitic drains(no aftermarket lights or stereo).

awesome work! if it makes you feel any better. I dragged out my wife's honda's motor swap for 2.5 - 3 months. you better believe everything was as clean as the pics!

cut that fender to make it custom! i run 33x12.5x16.5 on the back. they won't fit without some $$$. they have to much backspace and hit everything(suspension and steering wise) in the front.
