  2. 25 hours rated life: Do they burn out fast? 25 hours? 12° x 6° beam spread, for a very narrow, powerful beam of light. Arent those more of a narrow beam driving light rather than a Flood light back up? .

Im gonna add a back up light probably one of those round 35w tractor type lights unless I find a similar style 55w Where can I get a relay and what kind should I get?... auto parts store? 3 prong?   4. Living in the S/W desert we never used thermostats. You remove them and throw them in the trash That was before they started over-complicating vehicles with computers, sensors, and check engine lights
  5. Yeah, the dreaded pull the door panel ! Do I need to go buy some plastic push clip thingies that are going to get messed up
  6. Power door locks My pass side stopped unlocking a couple years ago. It would lock,down. but not unlock,up just makes a noise, eeeegh I have never took the door panel off and to check it out. Then I saw power door lock mechanisms at Geno's for about $200 ,,,geeze ! So has any one repaired a power door lock or do they just phuck up and need replacing like all the other new modern electronic crap?
  7. Been reading up on thermostats on other forums too. Found out these so called Safe-T-Stats or Fail safe stats are a Junk. they lock open at 220 or even lower and then they have to be replaced I also ran across the below with a couple other poster confirming it... For What Its Worth...
  8. Local Napa employee says that Napa thermostats are Motorrad brand If it locks open you gotta replace it. I dont think its a good design. A gimmick to sell you a new thermostat when it locks open

  10. IIRC isnt there a special long seal removing and installation tool that you stick down the axle tube to R&R the seals ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Cant remember exactly

  12. You like them plastic "quick disconnects" with the rubber o rings inside ? or would you rather have steel JIC fittings?

I'm a mechanic but had my friend that has a 4x4 repair shop replace my leaking front axle inner seals , just because he had the proper tool to remove and install and seat the seals and he does it all the time. Plus I had too many other projects going Only took him a couple hours complete, and filled the front with torco gear oil .

  19. I would think Denso would have a higher output alternator for our trucks, But googling I sure couldn't find one.
