Well it's been 2 hours so far so I am guessing approx 1000 years.  which is good because at that point I will have enough saved to pay it off %100

Awesome you will really like it! I had a lot of fun putting 1500 miles on my dads '17 last month. 

 

Did you look into the air assist suspension?

 

What made you stick with the G56? I love my NV5600 but I'd be getting an Aisin if I bought one today.

I dont want to mess with an auto again.  I am sure the 6 speed autos are better, but it SUCKS to tow in the mountains with an auto.   no air assist, just good old fashion leaf springs.  

 

trying to keep it simple, we intend to keep this truck for a very long time, or until we see a 3500 electric with  diesel generator :)

I hope to do some towing with the Aisin in the mountains this summer. I've never heard a bad thing about them and they are nothing like the 47/48 or even 68. I expect it to do as well as, or better, than my NV5600

 

It just sucks how much torque you give up with the G56.

Anyway, congrats Nick - I'm sure you'll enjoy it! BTW the new autos, even the 68, is a boss in the mountains with a trailer :thumbup2:

It's not you, it my truck...well and you, together....bad things

 

 

I figured the new autos would be better I just always came back to, it's easy to replace a clutch than rebuild the trans.  I don't honestly forsee this truck getting more power, maybe a mileage tune down the road sometime, but power not really.   I will row me some gears

Just don't pour the DEF in the wrong hole, I met a man who did that on his 2017.
