We just visited Kingman AZ and stopped in the Chamber of Commerce. Trying to get a bit of info. We learned the shop owner next door is getting his jewelry store. The major of Kingman AZ just invited Black Lives Matter to town. This is absolutely wrong...

We bailed out and head back home to Mohave Valley. Im safe here in out in the middle of nowhere.

I've even called home and checking on home and local towns.

Yes he will. It seems to be the norm with these groups of protestors. I understand why they're upset, I don't blame them. I don't understand how rioting and looting promotes their cause. It's just stupid and it isn't all of them. The bad ones get it started and it just grows from there. Sad that Americans think the best way to get attention is to destroy America. It all sickens me and I will be keeping my distance from any of it.

the people destroying America are not the same people that truly care about the issue of what happened.

Angry people are always looking for a excuse to be angry / get rid of the feeling they have internally that they are unable to deal with in day to day life.

I agree with both of the above. The folks that do care about the issues and want legimate change are getting over shadowed by the angry stinking camels.

This kind of thing needs to stop. Peadful protest is the route. Even angry peaceful protest. But the destruction of public and private property with looting for persnal gain just takes the credibility from the protest. We have unfortunately seen this happen again and again with needed change paying the price. We need leaders who care about the country who are willing to make the hard decisions and the next election be damned.

What legitimate change? This happened in a deep BLUE City in a DEEP BLUE state that has had control over their police for decades? Where is the systematic racism? In the most progressive cities! These people are coming after you and me, TRUMP is just in the way!

The change I am speaking of is not having a man kneel on my neck until I die while on the ground and in handcuffs.. It is not rampant but should not happen. I do not for one believe the police are bad people as a whole but as with any group there are bad apples. I am not saying there is systemic racisim. I do not envy their jobs for one minute and admire what they do for all of us. This country without a police force would be like what we have been seeing on the tv the past few nights on steroids.

Why does this always happen in Democrap controlled cities then get  blamed on the GOP for their "racism" This has nothing to do with "Black Lives" Floyd's death is just the excuse. Read MNLPS police training manual, (51-311 I believe) (that specifically authorities this neck restraint (not saying it's right) remember this IS a progressive run police dept.

I am watching this thread until I understand where Blueox01 is coming from and going with it. No disrespect Blue, not sure what ya mean here buddy.

These riots always break out over a perceived racial injustice, but always in a city run by progressives, but blamed on conservatives. No one rioted in MNLPS when a Muslim cop shot an unarmed white woman in pajama's a few years back!

Well thanks to the media in general you only hear if the things that will cause the most social damage, fuel the racism or somehow cause a disruptive action. That's what they do.

If everyone of every color would just have some courtesy towards each other and stop being hung up on their own color and just be human things would be much better. We all know that won't happen though.

Ya,  Riggins and McCall, ID are two hot beds of radical dissention and don't even stop in Pollock if you value your life.

A sad situation seized upon  by outside agitators and looters for mayhem and thievery respectively.  The inept response to the situation from the various law enforcement agencies can be viewed as either poor training, a lack of competent command and control,  political interference,  or a fear of more negative police work video;  what ever the reasons, it has exacerbated the problem and embolden mob violence.

Most of these riots are in cities/states with very restrictive gun laws: New York, California, Illinois, Washington D C, Seattle to name a few.  The rioters/lotters know that they will not be met by armed citizens defending property so it's a debauchery of theft and destruction.   When there are armed citizens about the hoodlums just move on as witnessed in Minneapolis, Dallas, and the town of Snohomish, Washington.

Where are the leaders...NO JUSTICE- NO PEACE  Maxine Waters,  Reverend Jesse Jackson,  Illhan Omar,  Reverend Al Sharpton,  Reverend Louis Farrakhan, and one knee Colin Kaepernick to name a few.   They have been silent and missing to quell the uprisings.  It seems the only time you see them is when it's to divide and not bring together.  Only Atlanta's Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has steeped up and  taken a leadership roll.  She has set an example that other community leaders should follow.

The crappy part of that is we all could do it if we just would. But as long as our leaders are going to act that way so is the population. They all sit around and blame the other side because they know better how to do things than the other side. It galls me to see and hear politicians say how divisive DT is when they are doing their best to do the same thing. Vote for us and it will all be better. I am tired of being talked to like I have no brain. And the media piles it on with their opinionated views. I long for the days of Walter Cronkite. Back in the day it was a journalists job was to present news and mine to sort out what it meant. I dont need their help.

As far as Mr. Floyd is concerned from seeing video clips. He was on the ground with one cop kneeling on his neck, another kneeling on the small of his back and another cop pinning his legs down. He was struggling some but had it been me and I could not breath, I would have been struggling also. The one cop could have moved his knee to between his shoulder blades and accomplished the same thing just to see if it made a difference. Of course now I am trying to play Monday morning quarterback. I just think the situation could have been handled much better in that instance. But since I have never had to face the situations cops see every day I am at a loss as to what I might have done. I do respect the police and have received respect back from them for the most part. But some are jerks and high on the power they have.

It does seem to take a person color to be on the receiving end for this kind of mayhem to happen. I did a little research, little is the key word, and the cops kill more white people than others. Though the percentages are smaller based on population.

The media just needs to STFU and present story with out their opinionated crap. And our leaders need to set some examples for folks to follow. Human kind has it within them to do what you say but they need encouragement. Wish it was that simple.

We have and have a had a shortage of leaders for a while. The folks you mention are leaders of mayhem. They have proven themselves time and again.
