Quadzilla Power

Hi All, Well I got it started. IQuad is installed and running and the MAP Sensor is working (Got up to 20 PSI Boost today on test run ). So now I want to understand. When IQuad starts it installs system setting every time it starts!!! Can you change the background colors? I want to make the numbers white and the borders for the numbers Light Blue. It's hard to see, especially in bright daylight. I have transition lenses in my glasses and they auto darken. Thanks! Michael

The fuel I've been picking up finally went to winterized diesel and the cetane really jumped in the last few tanks. Found that you have to retard timing a wee bit to gain the edge again. A lot of people consider the air temp like I did too thinking cold air will take more timing to ignite the fuel. Actually the cetane has more weight that air temperature. Even though my morning run is at about +10°F my IAT is about 62°F. I tried advancing timing found the MPG dropped hard to 17.6 MPG. Now after retarding jumped back to 19.5 MPG. This follows the same rules that the MPG of the Mopar1973Man High Idle. Just I'm programming a tune to take advantage optimal timing.…

Hi All, So I thought that my issue was no 5 volt power to the MAP and Oil Pressure sensor. So I pulled the harness out and gutted it. Found the joint and it measured 1K ohms from ECM to sensors. Reinstalled and reconnected. Measured 5 volts on the (IQuad) red wire that plugs into the MAP Sensor. IQuad shows no boost! Check engine light is on. Manual says that might be normal for 3 or 4 key cycles. I'll drive it some more after I see what the oil leak is all about. Man I can not catch a break!! Thanks for any advice. Michael

I just got a new tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab E 32g and got everything working but after running it for about 1-2 minutes the digital gauges all freeze and the app stops responding. This never happened on my old tablet the verzion Elipsis. Any1 have this happen and know how to fix? Im running same tunes as before on V2 dodge 1998-2002 version 2.7

So since I am in California Smog country now. I want the truck to run the absolutely best it can. I may be able to squeeze RV275's in it, but not much more. Maybe a more efficient wheel in the turbo and thats that... unless there is a ball bearing turbo that is essentially stock that could be an option.. SO the question is I have an Edge Comp now.. I am not real impressed by it as the truck seems rough on the high tunes and it smokes like a freight train on the high tunes as well... So could the Quadzilla enable the power without the smoke? smooth/smoother idle? better EGT's? etc... I look forward to learning from this thread as I have not dug into quadzilla mu…

Hi All, on my second Samsung Tablet. I bought a Samsung Tab A to use and it would not connect to the play store, to download the App. So I just got a Samsung SM-T113 tablet, Samsung TAB ELITE. I have upgraded it to the latest Android 4.4.4 and it will not connect to the IQuad V2. It sees it but will not connect. What am I missing? Help please. Thanks Michael

Howdy, I've been researching dead pedal issues, but I haven't seen any similar to mine. I have an '02 3500 6speed with 10k on an extensive and expensive rebuild. In the last 4,000 miles or so I've been having problems with high idle after extended running and three dead pedal instances. After running the truck at highway speeds for 30 minutes or so the truck idles over 900 rpm, the longer the running at highway speeds, the higher the idle. After running for several hours it's idling at 1,150 rpm. If I shut the truck off and restart (after fueling, for example) the idle returns to normal. I've had three dead throttle pedal…

Can someone educate me on the fuel economy monitoring capabilities of the Quadzilla? I think that the gallon/trip is pretty self explanatory, but I don’t understand what the eco gauge is telling me. My truck did not have a mpg display originally, so I have always hand calculated just for curiosity. I have never recorded or tracked mileage other than a quick check at the filling station. I am curious about these features, as I am going to start playing with tunes and see how effecient I can make this monster. How accurate is the gallon/trip function? Can I rely on that data? It seems like it would be much more reliable and precise than the “pump until it click…

I just finished installing my 4" Turbo back exhaust on the new truck today. When I was done, I went for a spin and noticed I have no mph being displayed on the Quadzilla. I didn't check it before so don't know if this is the issue or not. Speedo is fine on the truck, what am I missing?

Opened the IQuad app and I got a message saying I needed to update to the current verison. I have 1.9.41 installed and that is the current version on the Play Store. But I found a download for 1.9.5.

So I decided to finally instal a lock up switch, and it works fantastic. But now, if high idle is turned on on the Quad, it turns on no matter what the outside or coolant temp is. I have to disable my turbo timer or it comes on. It stays on past the 120 degree warm up setting on start up as well. It never did this before so my question is what the heck happened? Is it because of the jumper in the trans relay? Please help me understand lol.

Hey guys, first time poster...but long time fan of Mopar1973man! I’ve had my truck for over a decade and it’s time for some serious TLC! I have an 01 and hopefully all my mods show up in my signature. Once my transmission is done being rebuilt I will install The Quadzilla Adrenaline with iQuad. I plan to have a dedicated 7inch kindle fire as the readout for the gauges and for tuning. My question is in your guys opinion, are the gauges adequate for use instead of dedicated Issopro gauges for boost, EGT, and trans temp. I have an Issopro EV2 mounted on the steering console to monitor fuel pressure from the Airdog. Just wondering your opinions on using them instead of dedica…

So I went ahead and put a gauge pod earlier this year with the fuel pressure, boost, tranny temp, and EGT. After thinking about putting a Quadzilla in I am wondering if putting the gauges in was a good thing, as the quadzilla has all of those and it would be redundant. Am I correct on this?

Needs some help I was wonder what is need to read fuel pressure on the quadzilla adrenaline v2? And would I Want to read the vp44 pressure or the fass pressure? Anything’s helps and thanks in advance

Anyone else seeing issues with their MPH I use the corrected Speedo feature for the quad to get my MPH. And the latest update I will go from 62mph to 67 it never reads in between. Also I use the valet mode to theft purposes and I accidentally started driving with it in valet power mode 1% and it doesn’t cut out like it use to. It use to almost stall when I would start driving if I forgot to change it. Just curious if if anyone else has encountered this prob!!!

Can I install quad and run at “stock” levels? If I can run at stock power levels... the valet power level used as theft protection and the turbo cool off setting will come in handy ( I think it has turbo cool down). And the MPG tune shouldn't put any stress either I would assume, but could be wrong. Then after getting trans rebuilt and with a towing tune, it should help somewhat pulling 9,000 pound trailer on hills. Thanks, your thoughts

Can someone answer some questions about this new Quadzilla IQuadbT I just installed on one of 01's please. I, for the love of God, can not figure it out. I installed everything exactly as the instructions said. I purchased a Android tablet Voyager 3 that has blue tooth, but had a problem connecting to the truck. I finally got that figured out, but the screen on the tablet only gives me RPM's and raises power levels up or down.The other gauges are not present?? Is this because I need a diffeent download? As for the downloading... I know I can download different tunes, but cant figure out how? I found a older post on here, but it confused me a little. I know…

Just came across this monitor while doing my normal internet searching. It looks to be a good unit and it set up for running the adrenaline module. It also has built in dash cam and gps maps! That a big upgrade over my android tablet. Anyone have any experience with this before I pull the trigger on it?

I just got my 4K box updated and I’m currently looking for help for a base tune i can build off of. I’m strictly racing my truck so any help with a killer tune would be greatly appreciated.
