There's a 04 3500 4x4 auto for sale over here in uk for £12995, ad says revs on it's own straight after starting and someone has confirmed engine ECU replacement, I've asked for codes but not replied as yet, if ECU does need replaced how do I do that over here, can I get a ecu from USA and give VIN ??? could I send it over there to be fixed ??? and what cost and what if anything is better on it than the 98.5 2500 4x4 or the 98 3500 4x4 gas i've already got as I see it the ride is better on my 3500 than the 2500, gas versus diesel, I'd also say (don't shoot me for this) the 3500 gas is a smoother ride overall BUT the 2500 PO was a bodger and I am …

This is a known issue of the 2006 Dodge Ram cluster where the tachometer will be wild, erratic, or possibly dead or stuck. The fix is extremely simple. DISCLAIMER: If you do not have soldering experience please do not attempt this repair you might cause more damage to the cluster, electronics, or the truck. On Thor, since I purchased the truck the tachometer would sometimes work fine and on other days it would show wildly high RPMs like 4,000 while cruising 65 MPH in 6th gear. so i know my truck came with 134, but i'm getting ready to reseal the system, and well. why couldn't i run r12? i have a few cases of it. i do have the 134 as well. just wondered why i couldn't run the r12. i does cool faster and colder. thoughts?? you can convert the r12 system to 134 just by the fittings on the hoses. so the internals should be capable of running the r12...

Having issues...i was dropping some calves at our local stock pen, gentleman in front of me needed a jump. Shortly there after my ABS and BRAKE lights came on and have been flashing on and off ever since. I have checked all the fuses, didnt have to replace any. Has anyone installed the Firestone Ride-Rite air suspension?I recently bought a Fleetwood truck camper and had a devil of a time getting it home. The springs on the truck are just too soft, and the overriders don't help much. Thought I'd give these a try. I can't believe they put these springs on here! That's why it rides so good empty!

We've got a 2008 MCSB 6.7L G56 with electric tcase. We had tons of issues with the 4WD over the past couple years with the transfer case shifting. After a few replaced decoder motor replacements, I said 'eff it' and swapped the 273 for a 271 from an 07 model. I put the floor shifter in, linkage, etc. 4WD works flawless now, and have had zero issues, since.. With the exception of the SERV 4WD light on (for obvious reasons). This has been the case since day 1 of the swap. So I thought "what if I just stick the motor from the original 273 under there, tie it up, and plug it in?" Nope. Still on. No Codes on my scanner to clear, so IDK what's happenin…

Can someone confirm what the part number is for the secondary turbo drain below oil filter on a 07 5.9 is. Dodge doesn't have a clue when I went in and have none on hand to compare, thinking maybe 04429958. Stopped at a cummins dealer and they didn't have any on hand but thought it was 3920706. Thanks

Need help and advice --My Transmission is messed up...Its at the dealorship (on yeah 2006 5.9 3500 dually 56000 miles).The dealor called and talked to my wife and told her "something was out" best info I can give at this time. Cost to repair $700, if there are no metal shavings or anything when they pull the pan.Advice is this the time to put another tranny in the truck and if so which one. The ATS ? Why, you ask???? Why not???? LOL I can write off the propane as a business expense, and right now I can buy propane for $3.00/gal. I'm not looking for power, only mileage. I thinking only 1-4psi of fumigation added into the boost tube pre-turbo. The basics of the system seem pretty straight forward. I think I can buy everything I need for under $200.00. I would rig the system so that I can "arm" the system from the cab via a switch........of course the tank valve would need to be open. That way I can decide when to use it and when not to. I am having problems with the lights on my 04 3500. My driver side low beam does not work, and has not worked for a while now. I have been told it could be the Body Control Module. Two of my ID lights on the cab went out on me recently so i installed all 5 new ones and the park lamp relay. Now i have lost all of my running lights except for the driver side front one. Has anyone had any simmilar problems with their 3rd gen? Could it be the Body Control Module? Thanks for the help!

1st I would like to say that i love the web site and have caught the craze for running 2 cycle oil in diesel fuel. I have a 03 dodge cummins that I bought 11 months ago with 66,000 miles on it and and today i have 106,000 on it . I got into useing 2 cycle oil in the fuel roughly 6 tanks ago maby a little more and have had good results, The bigest thing i notice is that it runs quieter but allso too my MPG has gone up. When i fill up on empty it takes 30 gallons so I guess i have a 34 gallon tank, to that 34 gallons i have been puting 2 quarts of Amsoil HP Injector 2 cycle oil http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/hpi.aspx . Hello, I just purchased an 05 3500 auto Quad cab long bed. It has 228,000 miles on it and has been meticulously maintained since day one. One question I have is, should I be concerned if there is a little white smoke at idle or low rpms? It starts right up when cold, and no engine blow-by. The truck runs very well. The maint records mention all 6 injectors were replaced at 170,000 miles. Unfortunately no further details on injectors such as brand , reman or new. You know how it is.
