Anyone have or know where I can find the 6 fan pulley bolts for an 01 2nd gen. My son's fan hub bearing froze and sheared all the bolts of the fan pulley. I've tried MoparPartsGiant and they are stating there is an 80 day wait!....really need them much sooner. Even if I knew length, thread/pitch then I could go from there... Thanks, Bruce

Well After several weekends I FINELY got these suckers hooked up! Been waiting on time and parts. So I got 2 of the 100 watt spots and mounted them to the axle with 2 pipe bands each. Took a while to find out what wires went where in this mess that some one made for me. There are wires coming and going everywhere! Put the relay on the inside of the frame after I did a waterproof job with some tape and got it up out of the way. Next I ran my switched power and a ground to the lights. I ran a ground just to play it safe and have a ton of wire on hand. Ran the wires in that plastic wire covering, through the frame rails and down to the axle. …

  3. I have read plenty about the 3rd gen brake conversion, will the "dually" aspect of this change the rules any?

Gents: Have a battery draw down and my shop traced it to the Seat Belt Timing Module. DAP called 10 sources, my shop has called multiple and no luck. I've seen some videos how to bypass but not ready for that yet. At this point my plan is to go to a junk yard and harvest a used unit, but would certainly prefer a new or remanufactured one. Any thoughts or direction would be greatly appreciated.

  6. I ordered the Daniel Stern rik-ram kit, and am trying to install it today, but I'm now too confused after reading so meany threads on so many forums. Question no. 1. The DS upgraded wiring schematic shows a general one with truck with only 1 battery. Shouldn't I use both batteries? My Rik-ram kit came with a bag o parts. 3 relays not 4 like other homemade kits. 2. Is my truck a ground switching system or not? (I pull the knob out to turn my lights on). If yes/no, do I still follow that schematic? 3. Do you know/have any pictures of a built harness that I can follow? I would really appreciate a "Chinese Blueprint". Pictures go a long way for this guy... any help would be g…

So I swapped out my injectors today with a new set of RV 275s. I'm pleased with the performance boost and overall improvement in throttle response. My problem I'm having is that I have a plastic tube about 3/16" in diameter that has come loose and I can't figure out where it goes. In the attached picture you can see that one end comes from what appears to be a check valve maybe. Can anyone help me identify what and where this tubing is and where the other end may attach. On a possible related note, my interior vents have stopped working and they worked fine yesterday. My AC is producing cold air but the vents won't open. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So recently my dad decided he wanted an LED light strip on his dodge 1500 so he bought 2 of them. One for him and one for me for installing his. I got them both installed and have to say I like them. I am always concerned about other drivers not seeing me and rear ending me (it's happened before) so what the heck right. The LED strips he bought are 60" and have 3 rows of lights, red for tails, yellow sequential for turns and white for reverse lights. They're pretty bright in all stages. I'll attach a few pics to show you. The first one is the tails but in daylight, they're much brighter at night. The second is the reverse lights, very bright plus t…

Ok - need a hand - I suck at electronics Drivers window would go back up. New motor/bracket for window 2 months back chasing this issue. Worked flawlessly - till a week ago started having more issues. When I apply 12v direct to window motor harness it goes up and down fine - so its a problem with the switch (in the door where you move the windows up and down) or the wiring in the harness. I assume the switch in door connects the circuit when you want to window to move. That is the circuit is "broken" when the window switch is in neutral position. That means that the harness should have constant 12v right ?? So how do I multimeter the harness to check …

Dash brake light randomly illuminates. Sometimes it stays on from start up and will turn off within 10-15 min of driving. Other times it comes on and off while driving. It’s not the parking brake. That appears to be working properly. When the parking brake is engaged the dash light comes on. If I start to drive it will flash. When I release the parking brake it extinguishes. Brake fluid looks good. Upgraded to 3rd Gen brakes up front and did a full brake job 4 months ago. Had no issues until now. Only recent maintenance is new tires. They are 34s. this issue also seems to cause cruise control to not work. possible speed sensor …

Hi, I am new to the forums and I’m sure there might actually be a post on here for what I’m looking for and maybe there isn’t. Anyways I have a 99 2500 with the 24v with regular powered leather seats. I have done research as far as what year dodge started with the optional power heated seats and what years have the electrically locked seatbelt restraint and etc. I have purchased donor seats out of a truck that was the top of the line in 00 which included obviously power heated seats, heated mirrors and even steering wheel controls for the radio. I also purchased the wiring that includes the complete dash harness including the heater switches for the seats, body control mo…

After my new paint job is complete, sometime early spring, I'm going to move on to the dash replacement. I've decided I am going to replace dash versus a dash cover glued on. Since I am going that route, the heater core will be accessible. Should I go ahead and replace it too even if it's not leaking? Wasn't sure how widespread the leaky heater core problem is. I have 108k miles.

http://forum.mopar1973man.com/showthread.php/1278-Switched-Grid-Heater?highlight=switch+grid+heater that is sweet and i was curious if anybody ever did try it on 2000-02 and if it threw the check engine light. i really have no need for the grid heater in my neck of the woods and my remote start system waits for the wait to start light to turn off so this modification might be right up my alley. thanks.

Hi All, I changed the resistors in my HVAC system and solved the fan speed issue. I decided to change the fan/motor as well and now there is no air coming out of the dash or floor vents only out of the defrost vents by the windshield. Any ideas are welcome.
