Is there any reason why these would not bolt up to my 1995 2500 12v 4x4? I mean the set of A/T tires alone costs $1000 these days, the newer wheels would be sharp in my opinion. https://gainesville.craigslist.org/wto/6086617428.html

So I degreased the motor, and my mechanic friend stole my truck truck while I was out of town and replaced the hemorrageing tappet cover gasket. He pointed out that I have a crack in my exhaust manifold, and showed it to me. That bumps up that repair to the top of the list. So I priced one at Orieley's and it's not too bad ($250ish). Are exhaust manifolds all the same, or should I stay away from the chain store part? Any thing to watch out for, other than cracking bolts, etc?

A Robin is obsessed with looking at himself in the black shinny paint, mirrors and ss rocker panels on my newer truck. He won't stop poopen on the bed rails when he sees himself in the mirrors. He even attacks the reflection of himself. And since there is another good perch next to my truck on my wifes car door handles, he leaves a good one there almost ea. morning. My CO2 BB gun leaks when I go to put in another Co2 cartridge. Does anyone know how to stop that? Maybe a small 'O'ring or something? Funny, it's only a few years old and won't charge up at all. Thanks in advance I have big guns but don't need a hole that big in truck if a m…

Any one know a simple place to hook up the gauge light. I mounted it down near the floor in front of the 4wd shift lever for protection from feets. It is a good spot cause I can see it without looking thru the steering wheel etc. Been working so hard lately, not much rest, I need simple if you know a spot down there.

So I'm out on a road trip and last night when I turned my lights on the brights never came on, the bright is illuminated on the dash but no headlights, I have just recently upgraded to the dual sport headlight from DAP, and before I left I also installed the relay wire harness kit from DAP, and they were all working fine for the last week or so. I still got the dim side but no brights. I checked fuses and relays and are still good, I am wondering if it's in the mfs switch on column or light switch on dash, Any ideas what to check, I'm out on a road trip so kind of limited to what I can do.

Hey gents. So after doing my front brakes, now I have a leak from the LF axle. ? If it's not one thing, it's another. Having said that, how do I change out he seal? Do I REALLY have to pull the front diff cover, along with the ring and pinion? Seems ridiculous. And I don't want to mess with shimming and lashes. Any tips? Thanks

Seems that over the last year or so my steering wheel has developed a popping/clicking inside the cab. I've read a few posts in the past where people said it could be the clock spring or the bushing but both seem to be hit and miss fixes. Just curious if there's anyone out there who's actually fixed the issue and what worked for you. Doeant matter which way you turn the wheel the problem still exists. The noise is definitely from the column and it sounds more like a bearing when it's gone out. Any advice is appreciated.

New issue here turn signals just went out. Flashers work fine. No trailer hooked up or anything. For as bit the turn signals would come on for about 2 clicks then go out both left and right. Now I get nothing. I looked under the hood and on the side panel for a signal relay but did not see one. Anyone have any advice where to go from here?

Shouldn't dodge rear brake adjustment starwheels be right and left, in other words one has right hand thread and one has left hand thread? Is it possible to reverse them side to side so brakes don't auto adjust? I haven't had these apart yet, but it seems to me that I am turning starwheels backwards to adjust brakes out!

My tires need replaced before winter makes its head. What's the popular suggestion for tires these days? I'm half pave half off road. It snows a boat load in the winter. I'd like something with a high load rating, but also aggressive enough to keep my traction and give me longevity. While i realize I'm asking for the perfect tire, there has to be something close! I'm thinking about going with oem size tires also. But I've also wondered about different wheels and sizes. So what's everyone say...

Well with the weather and day light times slowly moving towards towards warmer and longer, I'm getting together a list of things (mainly common preventative maintenance stuff) thing I'd like to get done. I have some questions regarding each so help me out! 1. Brakes: I'm pretty sure the PO got them done (probably just pads) just before I bought it but I'd like to redo the rotors and pads. Anything special here I should be looking at brand wise or pad material? Geno's sells hawk pads, are they any good? 2. Ball Joints: I've read through @Me78569 thread on his quest to find some, so were the spicer ones from Dennys able to get the job done? …

Going to work today, i was cruising at 45mph on county road. Noticed my gauge said i was running hot at 190f. R brake wasnt on and didn't notice anything unusual. So i tried driving differently and it only slightly affected it. So i thought maybe it was the gauge. Got onto highway road and got into lock up at 60 and it went down 30f. But soon after came right back almost. The slower i went the hotter it got. So when i got to work i checked the fluid and it was good level not burnt and still red. After work, i started the truck after sitting 10 plus hours and the gauge said the trans was at 130f. No way that's possible! I dunno why it…

In front of the gauges there is a clear plastic 'glass' cover. Has anyone ever removed that clear cover? My new to me work truck (2001) has big gobs of dog hairs in there. Want to clean but how? How the leather interior is so close to perfect yet got dog hairs behind that glass in front of gauges I will never know Oh yeah, dust too

Tried different glues for compatibility since I have a broken Bezel and found ABS pipe glue works very well and does not come off. I'm also laminating a piece of decorative cowboy Hide just over the top to add strength and hide cracks. Kinda tough to do but one trick is to glue a larger piece on there and then trim it later after glue sets up. Careful with the front edge.

01/5pd/4x Put the pedal down to stop the other day, got rewarded with no decel, some jingling and a stiff pedal, was able to feather it a bit until the pedal depressed and stopped me. Took my wheels off and looked to find a missing pad clip, pad was loose figured it to be my issue so I did pads and rotors since I was in there anyway. 3 days of normal braking no issue, today it rained a bit, I had about 40 mins of driving in everything pointed to normalcy until...same issue along with a butt puckeringly close call on the poor Accord in front of me. ABS/Brake lights flashed on and off a few times, I limped home. As I was backing into my driveway I noticed my wheel was …

In the parts manual, Figure 08A-430, The overhead console has a part named "DOOR, Garage Door Opener" (I guess your garage door open supposed to go) Anyway the plastic tag that you push in to open broke today. This is the little compartment that is near the mpg, trip meter readout thing. Above the rear view mirror. Any good ideas what to do with that space to make it useful? Thanks
