You can find the article for this build here First I need to give credit where it is due and reconize Farm828 and other on CumminsForum in this Thread Also I need to give major credit to Hakcenter from lilbb.com and his code and use of turbo RPM to calculate vane position. I am currently working on getting my 351ve conrolled using a arduino uno and sparkfun canbus shield along with some other basic parts/sensors Here are the list of parts that are used. you can void the code to use one or all of the sensors, but this list is for everything. Parts: for controlling the he351 with boost and drive pressure Arduino uno: https://www.s…

For those familiar with the turbo BlueOx01 installed recently, that turbo is on sale if you're willing to wait a while to get it. I am strongly considering it and thought I'd share. This is the 12 cm^2 version, not the 9. https://www.benzforce.com/products/pre-order-holset-he351w-4043980-4043982-he351

ok - so I'm jumping the boat and going twins. I'm tired of fighting EGT towing even with methanol - dont want to go with reasons here - pm me if you need info on that one. I am guesstimate around ~400HP right now. I doubt I will ever go over 500-550 due to mpg and breaking my tranny So - I currently have a he351cw from john (AH64ID) here. Works well but want more. So underneath it as a primary will be a s472. My first step will be STUDS. This will be a longish thread. I am going to follow the ARP sequence and instructions for torque - you can get that here. http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/images/PDFs/ARP%20Head%20Stud%20Installation.pdf Likely to start in around …

Hi guys, I've been lurking and learning on many forums. I got my truck back in August of '10, but I've learned slowly along the way. I love the truck and know there are things I'm needing to do to it, but I got hurt and sadly it took a back seat to so many things and then other stuff came up. I'm trying to catch up. I've got a leak inside that I noticed. There is a streak on the rear glass where it runs down. There is a little brown staining on the headliner on the passenger side. I don't know if there is a possible seam breach just back of the door on the roof, or if (in my opinion more likely) the cargo light that is on the back of the cab is leaking. If …

So I am sorry, I know this isn’t quite the right section for post… but was closest I could find Looking for people who may have similar trucks to mine, and what they would be willing to part with them for. Mine was stolen from in front of my house, and after a few months and more phone calls than anyone would consider reasonable, the insurance co and I are talking numbers… first number was $10k and second was $12 We aren’t even close, however I am struggling to find comparable vehicles listed for sale …. it was a 99 Dodge Ram 2500- 24 valve- Automatic (just rebuilt) , Short bed extended cab, leather seats (…

We found a truck down in Muskogee, OK the other day that is a 99 and has a cracked 53 BUT it comes with a 56 block out of an 02 for free and today I'm supposed to put a down payment on it. My question before I screw myself is, WILL THE 02 WORK IN A 99. Got a hell of a deal and don't wanna find myself upside down in this deal.

I have run into a problem with my current setup with my egts while towing no matter what I have my my quadzilla set on. If I continue to tow a lot what turbo should I upgrade to or should I go back to stock injectors? The turbo is the original HX35. If I upgraded turbo I just want a direct bolt on. Thank an you for your input.

Hey guys. I’m trying to get high idle going in my 2000 5.9. I have the moparman switch but I have to get it enabled. I took it to the dealership to get it done and $180 later it didn’t work. I’m from Canada so I can’t rent an s03 from dap. Any of you guys in Canada have an s03 you’re willing to rent to me or even you guys in the US? Or have a software number I can tell the dealer to install ? Thanks in advance, I’m in quite the Perdicament here

Ive have searched High and Low and can Not find an answer to this. But to make sure I understand. I have a quadzilla adrenaline V2 installed in the truck. I have tried to make it high idle with parking brake ect. when it was cold as ever. No high idle I have purchased a Moparman high idle switch from DAP and look to install it. Can i install it with current quadzilla plugged in everywhere? And If i need to flash the Computer to enable high idle either with a smarty or a dealer.... can quadzilla stay plugged in? If this is a dupe post please let me know. Thanks for all the infinite wisdom you guys have on here. Finally signing up Truck i…

I am wondering for us that live in more moderate climates if the high idle kits are worth doing? Not exactly sure if they are for everyone or just those who live in cold areas? Will the mileage feature work for all climates too?

So I bought a high idle switch a few years ago for my 99 ram. Worked great until last week. Now when I turn it on for my mpg fooler my check engine light comes on. It throws codes for the coolant temp sensor and the intake temp sensor circuit high. Not the first time I've seen this issue with this high idle switch. I'm a diesel tech here in South Dakota and one of my customers had the same switch and it did the same thing. I'm pretty sure the switch has gone bad. Just curious if any one has seen this issue as well. I'm sure I'm gonna have to replace the switch. I just don't feel like I should have to pay 150 bucks every three years for it. Thanks.

Announcement: I will start producing a combination high idle/3 cyl high idle/MPG fooler box in a quality manner. This will not be a 1 time thing. I am going to order in bulk & produce probably 25 at a time. All plug & play with a small durable weatherproof connector to go through the firewall. ECT & IAT wiring will be OEM style plugs so that you do not have to cut & splice the harness. It'll be similar to the MAP sensor harness on a tuner or boost fooler:Unplug connector from sensor, plug in HI/MPG plug to sensor & plug in HI/MPG plug to truck's harness.I am trying to work with a well known diesel performance distributor, so that it will always be…
