I have looked in the forms and searched however I cant find the direct answer to this question. I dont have any gauges on my truck at this time (fuel pressure, trans temp ect..) I am looking to get the quadzilla iquad bt so I can have gauges and a mpg tune. I have a stock truck expect a bhaf and 4 inch exhaust. I am not going to race or pull crazy weights. I just want a good clean running, efficient truck. Should I get the quadzilla first or fuel pump?? Thanks for any advice.

The new 4k unit, does it also have the standard v2 version software in it so that I can choose not to use the 4k tunes and be a regular quadzilla? Is the 4k unit strictly a race unit? I want mpg but also when not towing to be able to create a good power tune. I still need to do studs but want to buy a quad and don't want to buy the standard one and then have everybody say "oh you bought the regular one bad choice" lol My revo paired with the TST3 is giving 17-21mpg but there is a tad amount of smoke that I think the quad could dial in a bit better.

Just got my Quad, and have a few questions, forgive me if I say something stupid. After a whole lot of reading on this site a couple of things are making me look for answers. First, it seems to me that I need to add timing because my injectors are DAP 7x.009 and popped @ 320 bar. My question here is I know that as they wear, they will drop in pressure. Has anyone worked out a table based on mileage/hours of when to start taking that advance out? Second, what is fairly simple, can I just tap into my existing gauges for the fuel pressure and pyro to the Quad? Again, sorry if I'm asking stupid questions, but I like to understand what and why I'm suppose…

I recently received my new Quadzilla Adrenaline from DAP, and I’ve been doing a lot of reading on this site, watching videos on YouTube, and I downloaded the Excel tune builder and have been playing with that. I’m very excited to learn and to start tuning the truck. I’m coming from a 12 year old edge juice with attitude that stays on level 3 with the low boost fueling on 1 all the time. I have used the tune builder to build starting point tow and daily driver tunes based on my elevation and injector size. I know it is going to take some time with the truck and the load it will be carrying to get the tow tune dialed in right. My main question is, for the tow tune…

In trying to get my truck setup so it doesn’t smoke like a train, I finally pulled the plug and made an order at DAP and got a Quadzilla. When I bought my truck, the PO had installed an XDP HO Extreme injection pump. My understanding is it’s equivalent to the hot rod VP. Anyways, How should I setup the Quadzilla? More truck info below. 1999 Ram 2500 5 speed NV4500 HO extreme injection pump 100 HP injectors, supposedly BD Diesel Super B Killer turbo. 61/76/14 3.55 gears 315/75r16 tires i also got 150hp injectors set at 320 bar I haven’t installed yet. I assume I’d have to change the timing afterwards. I know…

So yesterday morning I went to start my dodge for the first time in over a week. Let the grid heater cycle 2 times and tried to start it. Wouldn't start so I unhooked the quad from the battery but not the map (forgot that part). Jumped the truck and had a cel. Drove to my brother's next door to change the turbo. Got that done and went for a drive. Had zero boost checked the cel and it was a p0238, 0236. Unhooked the quad at the plug, left the quad map sensor is plugged and same results. Drove like a turd and no boost. (Limp mode if I can describe it). Did I fry the map or the quad? Should I unhook the quad map sensor and plug in the factory one? …

  7. Am I the only one who has a quad that makes the whole truck stumble, buck and shake like the VP is emptying when the throttle reaches the % you set max TPS to? I'll still have 10psi of fuel on the mechanical gauge right before the VP and after extensive test driving i worked out that if my throttle applied percentage equals or exceeds the max TPS it acts like the truck is running out of fuel. Lots of smoke ensues and it cuts out and bucks. I see 2.8.4 ADR is still the latest version. Am I the only one? I'm running aggressive settings without min of 32% max of 40, 50, 60, and 65 as a final setting so the truck doesn't fall on its face. Boost scaling is 20psi, 2…

Hey all, I am looking for some tunes. I live in Virginia, so I'm at sea level. I'm looking for a eco tune, daily tune, tow tune, street tune, and holy **** race tune. The truck is a 1999 dodge ram 2500. Mods done to it so far are F1 Mach 4 150HP injectors, ARP headstuds, Banks intake horn, Borg S362SXE, hamilton pushrods, aFe stage 2 cold air intake with a power driven diesel air filter, cal tracs, TRE stage 2 built transmission. AirDog 2 4G 165. Eventually it will have a compound turbo setup. I'm looking to get a solid 550-600 HP at the wheels.

Can someone post up the values of the daily stock injector with meat 1.9 tune l. I bought it and can’t get it to download to the app on iOS. I tried emailing it to myself and everything and can’t get it. I’m pretty good with a phone and can’t get it. I looked through old threads and can’t find it. Only find outdated ones that’s been updated since posted. You can post up other tunes as well. Thank you.

  12. Hi all. I finally got my truck back running. Turbo and Exhaust manifold and a few other odds and ends needed some love and attention. I'm planning to install the Quadzilla in the next couple of days. All the sensors are in so it should go easy. I have a basically stock motor mods are BHAF, FRRP Factory Raptor Replacement Pump, Bosh RV 275 injectors. I will be putting an upgrade turbo S200GX-E in the truck soon and may upgrade my injectors at some point but the the ones in there went in in Feb 2018 and don't have a lot of miles on them so they stay for now. I don't know the first thing about this beautiful piece…

I've been running the Daily tune from the tune repository here with a few adjustments but I'm not sure if ive helped or hurt the performance. I have also switched to a "Daily" tune that i wrote based off of the Daily tune in the repository. My issue seems to be I cannot get the turbo to light well and egts cruising 65-70 are 1000* or more. Cruising 65-70 I'm around 1800 rpms with 0-2psi of boost. If I roll into the throttle and try to pass or accelerate it will skyrocket to 1500*. But i have no real excess smoke as before and i can drive pretty smoke free on the max level, but when it does smoke it seems to have a greyish tint. I haven't been happy with the truck sin…

Mine just came in the mail. I have a couple questions. First off the kit came with a sleeve to fit larger paper roll tubes. Is the Scott 1000 still the paper of choice? Second. Saw a write up somewhere about installing magnets in the filter to catch ferrous material. Is this a prudent exersize? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

So I have a blue chip diesel Premium VP44 in the truck, last time I drove it it felt worse then my old with 300k or something on it.. Much slower... So I was curious, you can add like 7x13 injectors and pick up added reliability out of the vp itself by detuning it so it works less hard... but I heard that 7x10's are the max size injector you should go with for towing heavy. So I'm curious what it is in a 8 hole? And HP deferences. That said there are Turbonators for VGT S300'S, any idea how much you can pickup on these trucks with one of those? Like fuel only numbers? + upsize in turbo with the VGT? I heard it's like the old s364 before…

I know the cheap thing would be to straight pipe the stock exhaust. But I have a couple issues with noise. First is that I use my truck as a service vehicle in an upscale neighborhood and the other is hunting. Mike said in some post that you could hear his truck coming for a mile. Not good for hunting. Like typical, I want my desired outcome for the least amount of money. I wish to have better flow of air through the engine and have it quiet. Is there a way to go from my stock muffler to straight pipe by pulling a lever? I'd be willing to do it from outside the vehicle.
