Bought the used Adrenaline that was listed in the classifieds, and got my adapter from DAP. With the sub-par diagnostic procedures on Quad's website I am left with a paperweight. Any tips out there? The IQuadBT is not showing up as available in the app or to my phone's software. I have moved the jumper. It should have power and ignition on signal, and ground is straight to a clean battery terminal bolt. I have popped the hood and stood beside the BT to maximize signal. I have tried with the engine running and with just ignition on. Fuses all good, per ohm meter.

What is the yellow hieroglyph? Is that fuel pressure? If so, how do I make Quad calm down about not receiving that signal?

I just got a southbend dual disk installed in my truck with southbend hydraulics. After talking to some guys about injectors and reading on here and various other forums I decided to go with a set of DAP new bosch 125hp SACs. I would like to know which turbo size would be better to run for this amount of fuel. I was going to go with small twins but after my other truck got totalled, the clutch job, and buying a 1998 jeep to replace the totalled truck, I'm getting short on cash so I'm sticking with a single. Budgeting around 1,500 for turbo and downpipe. I've decided on a borg warner SX-E 57/65/12or14 61/65/14 or a 62/68/12or14. I know that I could probably go bigger wit…

Well guys, after many many days of studying on which intake to get I finally decided to go with a BHAF. Then I was looking on ebay and found the AEM Bruteforce for a great price (not much more that I would have paid for BHAF and pre filter). Got it yesterday and installed it asap. Looks sharp and sounds great. Dry flow filter. Install was simple:thumbup2: I did notice a bit of improvement in acceleration and truck seems to wanna go a little more. Over all I am very satisfied with it. Just my .02. Just thought I would give a simple review for anyone thinking of getting it. I cant say if its any better or worse than BHAF since I have not tried BHAF as of yet but I…

  5. I recently purchased a 2001.5 Ram for my wife which still had the OEM lift pump in the stock location. After testing and determining 2 psi of fuel pressure, I replaced the filter which brought the fuel pressure up to 9 psi. Still not good enough in my book so I replaced the OEM lift pump with an Aertex lift pump in the stock location. This brought the fuel pressure up to 16 psi at idle but it could still be pulled down to about 10 psi. I found this to be marjinal and still not good enough. The next step was to relocate the pump. A friend was installing a 60 gallon fuel tank on his Ram 3500 and was generous in offering me the use of his shop to install my Air Dog 150…

Hey fellas what are you putting on these trucks for complete exhaust upgrades? Where is the best place to buy a complete kit? I dont want to pay the muffler shop $600 to do it when I can buy the kit and install and weld it myself. Also are results really noticeable? MPG's and Perf.? let me know, thanks

  8. Been reading up on the problematic OEM lift pump & aftermarket solutions. I have to say I'm a bit confused as to why the aftermarket pumps have a relief valve. I can understand that there needs to be a return to the tank from the lift pump to dump the air that has been removed from the fuel. But doesn't the OEM fuel system have a pressure relief valve that maintains supply pressure, and bleeds the excess into the fuel return line at the injection pump? Also doesn't the excess fuel used to cool the IP? If the pressure relief valve on the LP opens up, what happens to the required extra flow to the IP? Is the OEM pressure relief/return system overwhelmed by the aftermark…

I've seen some prices pretty cheap on Amazon. Anyone have any experience with these? https://www.amazon.com/BLACKHORSE-RACING-Silicone-Intercooler-1994-1995-Diesel/dp/B07TXF9311/ref=pd_ybh_a_12?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=8RGVYV2MFSTY2SPKSAPP&th=1

i have the AD 150 with a straw. i have been running 17 psi all the time.all the way to empty. just lately i noticed that now it drops pressure when comming to a hard stop at 1/4 tank of fuel. like to 5 or less just for a sec the right back up to 17psi. I did just put a needle valve on the line to the gauge, and it's open a little. can this valve be causing my problem? and is it ok to drop pressure for a sec or two? i going to open the valve full open untill i get fuel tomarrow.

I only see a 30lb spring on their site. Anyone ever try one? Does it actually give 30lbs? That's too much. The spring in my unit seems to be getting weaker as time goes by. Stretched it a little and added a washer. Had 18-19lbs steady for awhile. Pressure slowly dropped to 15-16lbs over 8-10 months. Replaced seperator and fuel filters, no change in pressure. Added another washer and pressure is at 17-18lbs but if I drive about 50 miles or so, the pressure gradually drops to around 15. Will drop to 13-14 if I get on it. Hopefully it's just an old spring losing its tension and not the pump slowly dieing. Was just curious about the replacement spring air dog offe…

What does the inner diameter of my air filter need to be to go on a 5 inch intake pipe?

Hey all, Well after reading and contributing to this thread, http://www.turbodieselregister.com/threads/256272-Air-Filter-one-dirt-road-and-the-minder-says-Now!/page2 I am curious if anyone has a collection of data on various filters that conclusively shows which is best? Does anyone have oil analysis while using a BHAF? Anyone have a comparison between Donaldson BHAF and OEM filter? I know some of you must....I know I chose the Donaldson BHAF for a reason but I don't remember actual ratings anymore..... Thanks!

  15. Well I would like to personally thank GOS Performance for providing me with a quality product. It took me a little over 3 hours to get it all installed to my specs that I wanted. I did some changes during my install to hopefully protect the pump and filter from damages this summer when I'm out cutting firewood. The when the box showed up from the "Brown Man" I was kind of shock to see how big the box was. I didn't relize that is came with all new fuel ine, fittings, electrical, etc. Right On! Instructions are really easy to understand. Once I got the pump all hooked up I was expecting this loud pump to buzz on the frame below. I turned the key and didn't hear nothin…

Hello, I have a AIRDOG 100 on my truck. Along with a glow shift fuel pressure gauge. I recently washed my engine bay and had a water in fuel light. It went off after a couple miles of driving. And was told to drain my water filter so I did. And bumped the key to prime and pump and it did. But now my gauge doesn't ever move. And I can't ever hear the airdog run. Even when I bump the key. Anything I can do?!? Just runs fine!!

  17. I just installed my airdog 165 fri night and sat I was having problems with it cranking and now it surges going down the road! This morning it took forever to start! When it did crank, drove it to the office and had to keep the idle up and the check engine light came on with the following codes P1692, P1693, an (2) P0122! Any ideas on what to do? I did the fuel module install! Please help!!! Jason:banghead::banghead::banghead: --- Update to the previous post... I finally got the pressure gauge to hook up an I am running 15 psi! Just as soon as I get it started, it is still loping! I believe I am sucking air some where but I don't know! I took the fuel supply line of…

  19. Has anybody had issues adjusting the pressure on the airdog2/165, the instructions say 2 turns clockwise equals 15-16 psi, but my gauge says 26 psi. Trying to reduce pressure but if i go all the way counterclockwise on the airdog i only get 21 psi. Is the air dog wrong or the gauge?

I'm installing a mpg and high idle fooler. My hands are quite big and trying to determine the easest way to make the connection to the ait. Take off the bracket for the dip stick and remove fuel filter? Or find an Aisian woman to help? Lol.
