I've been given the green light by the owner to work on the next truck. I've got to share this with you all very nice looking 2nd Gen... I had to dig it out of New Meadows, ID. It was buried rather nicely with quite a bit of snow on it. I know I got to do front end work. Sloppy steering. 4WD doesn't work (vacuum issues). Shocks are worn out and got some bounce and sway. Got it home for the time being that is the first step.

There's another one out there stuck just as bad. Buddy buried them yesterday, we're heading out now to winch them out.

That's my fuel shutoff solenoid relay lol. I've a got a couple new ones on the way from Larry B, until then it's the ol' "pop the hood and push the rod" routine.

Just filled up tonight for $1.79. Looked back at an old archived topic for prices. Over a $2 difference that some of us were paying a couple of years ago! Use to have to run the credit card twice to do a fill up because of $ limits on the pump. Not a problem now. I know we are all loving the low prices, but I can't stop to think that there must be a lot of oil workers out there that don't have a job now because the price of a barrel of oil.

Good friend of mine needed a place to work out of the cold and of course he would call here... Nice wood heated shop and all the tools you might need for basic repairs.

Does anyone here do any snowmobiling / off-roading, or have any cool "wilderness" pictures to throw up? I like to see nature so throw some pics up! Here was m adventure from today.

I hate when the weather warms up it just takes one day of melting snow to make a muddy mess of my truck. Doesn't look bad on the body but all the caked mud and packed in the fender well, frame, skid plate, etc. I'm more anal about keeping the mud off being the salt usage here is really high and it doesn't take much to start rotting the truck. After about 30 minutes of work with a 3,000 PSI power washer... I'm proud that I'm managed to extend the life span of my truck and its not rusted to hell yet.

The "Thundering Herd" is playing for their 4th straight national championship this Saturday in Frisco TX against Illinois ST. so you can about imagine what the talk is all about around here. Pretty remarkable considering they have a new quarter back and head coach this year and only lost 1 game this season which ended a 38 game winning streak.
