Hi all! I recently bought a Case 1835B skid steer w/ a Case diesel in it. While dumping red fuel in the other day I got to thinking about adding 2 stroke. My gut feeling is it can't hurt but what do you all think?

I will check & make sure I haven't missed or helped in any specific problem tomorrow. My Dad had 11 strokes total & passed last week. That is the reason I have not been around. If anyone has anything I left hanging, please PM me. PLEASE do not flood me with condolences, as I am having a hard enough time with this. Sometimes life sucks. Thank you, Ed

Decided to polish the tubes on my pontoon finally, Did it before my last pontoon ever saw the water, but as one gets older the ambition factor diminishes but last weekend it was in the 70's in march woo hoo!!! decided to get it done before season #4 on this pontoon. some pics of the project. 14 hours into doing just the outside of the outer tubes and the rear of both tubes and a sore body for 3 days after. Used Mothers aluminum polish, there are a ton of different metal polishes out there but this was readily available and easy to get and it worked on my last toon so I just went with it, used a standard variable speed buffer with a wool pad, after the final wipe down with…

So I got some gravel today to fix up my driveway. Got the first 5 yards home without issue except while unloading a lift cylinder on my loader decided to start puking hydraulic oil. Huh, well that's annoying. Go get the second load and park at the end of the driveway. I come back a few minutes later to a puddle of coolant and a split side tank on my radiator. Really?! So it's starting to rain, I'm annoyed, calling it a day. Well that metal fence post I sheared off with the plow truck over the winter...found it.

My wife has been looking at newer vehicles to replace her 03 VW Jetta TDI with almost 300k miles on it and she found a nearly new 2014 Jetta TDI with only 1300 miles on it but the problem is that it's a repaired car with a salvaged title. I test drove it this morning and it is an awesome little rig but having never bought a repaired car I decided to test drive it directly to the VW dealer to see if VW would still warranty it, they said on a salvage title used car no warranty unless it was repaired with 100% VW parts and even then it would be tough to get VW to honor factory warranty. I will not buy a newer vehicle without a warranty so it is out unless there are warrant…

So my other truck (read: the wife's) is a 2014 GMC Sierra and it will double as our 'family vehicle' as I refuse to drive a mini-van! I'm looking into the option of a softopper as apposed to the fiberglass option. Mainly looking for something that I can use when it's raining or cold out and be able to keep things dry back there, or throw the dog back there, but also be able to retract and still use the truck bed if needed. It's also a LOT cheaper then the fiberglass options! It seems that the softopper is capable of doing all this, just looking to see if anyone here has one, or any experience with them? http://www.softopper.com/ Matt

Anyone know anything about these? Are they gear, chain, or all hydraulic drive? Anything good or bad about them? The one I'm looking at has a 3 cyl. Duetz diesel. I'm trying to find the specs on it but Can't find any. Even Digger Data skips over it. Thanks in advance!

So at work today they were clearing everything off of the upper lot where we park the overflow trucks and the trucks we don't really use anymore. My job was to see if I could get an old 1990 Gradall truck that is used for making splices in high line power lines running enough to make it about 1/4 mile to the shop. When I went to look at it I found that it had an old C-series Cummins 8.3 in it. I was told that the truck had not been started in five years. I checked the fluids and everything was there, you could tell it had been there a while. I went to the shop and grabbed a couple of batteries and replaced the 2008 batteries with them. Also I had taken some tools with me…

Are there other years / generations besides Second Gen that have Loose Goose steering problems? Is there contineuity to it? Is it the Diesel & V10s that have this or across the product line? 2WD? 4WD? Should I throw in the towel & buy another brand truck? My ancient C30 never had this. Early 60s Jeep Wagoneer (rust bucket) with solid front axle (and Buick V8) never had this. WTF?

Hey all, As some of you know, my wife and I purchased a decent sized country property almost 2 years ago. We have about a 1500ft gravel drive with quite a steep incline to get into the upper drive. The entire drive is downhill in varying degrees, so its usually not to bad to get out, however, coming back uphill doesn't always work out as well. We acquired an AWD compact SUV for my wife and it has done very well this year, but all the same, with the weather in KY as of the last few weeks (two snows dropping over a foot in a few hours). Last year was less snow at once, but more over the course of winter. Our driveway has been less than desirable for traversing durin…

I bought a dash cam at the Gun Show of the West in Del Mar, CA. It cost $100 cash and came with a 32 Gig memory card. I have it set to turn on when the engine starts and shut down when the key's turned off. It works good and no question of he said she said. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn34ZcEd418&feature=youtu.be Yes, I did stop and offer assistance.

Pretty much says it. Wife has been bringing in the firewood & using the ATV to plow snow... I can't get on the backhoe. Last time the JD was run was when a family member plowed us out a couple of years ago. Wife doesn't want me on the backhoe & refuses to help so there it sits, a big lawn ornament. We're gonna be sorry...

I had to break out this morning and take a day off from both jobs. So I loaded up the ATV and left and headed up Denny Creek Road. My first stop was to hit the Old Denny Creek TV Tower. Back long ago in the 90's before satellite TV was available the neighborhood invested in the local TV tower a few bucks from everyone to pay for the power and the FCC license. So while I was up on the knob I broke out my Fuji FinePix HS30 EXR camera and attempted to shot a picture of the house. I was shocked when I got home and seen the picture turned out. I'm on the right side you can see the butt of the RV in the photo as well as the very large maple tree out back and a bit of smoke…
