3.75 is the cheapest around here

Just paid $3.85 in southwest FL. That's about the lowest around.

Just went up again... $4.259 in New Meadows, ID now... :duh:

Ya know Mike, you used to get what, 17mpg, and were fine with it because of excuses you thought to be true with winter and you complained about fuel prices then. Now you get 23.5mpg because of the fooler. If I calculate it out, in comparison to what mpg you got before (17), the $4.259 is actually only $3.081. So now what do you have to complain about :lmao::moon:

Because I know that going to wash away to 10-12 MPG dragging the trailer around...:duh: Or wash away to 14-15 dragging the wood trailer around... Trailer season is coming for me like it or not. Either going be hauling 2 cords of firewood or be hauling the other travel trailer around. Now figure again... :spend:

I get 17 pulling our trailer around at 70 and never letting off. Time for you to learn how to fool for trailer towing  If I, a person with a 12V, can figure out how to get you from 17-23.5, then you, a person with the 24V, can figure out how to get the trailer mileage up as well. A semi truck with 80k gets lets say 6. Using that logic we can say your truck and trailer with a combined weight of, hmm was it 15,000 or so, that works out to 32mpg. Might be a little off with that but I tried it several ways and it was always 32. Still there are DT466 out there pulling a ton getting 13mpg so there is definitely room for improvement with our trucks.

Averaging 3.799 to 3.939 hereHere is Wynne AR I've seen prices from 3.599-4.099

We hung at 3.99 for a long time and when it jumped it went to 4.13 - 4.19 now in Bismarck Mandan ND area.

$1.23/litre which is $4.65/gallon here.

One station has it here for 3.799 and station right next to it is 4.159 this afternoon! Crazy

From one fuelup to the next I went from $3.399 to $4.049!Of course there was nearly a 10 week break in there.

was 4.01 this morning wwhen i got to work. it is now 4.08. working at a loves travel center in Hooker OK. uot in the panhandle.

Oil speculators are killin us! Trying to see how much pain they can inflict before American consumers cut useage. I'm paying less for gas (truck is still in the shop)... because I'm staying home more days. I'm trying to combine trips & tasks in most economical order... but I've BEEN doing that for years.

Like saying to turn off electric lights when you leave the room... I was taught to do that in the 1950s (my age is showing). We always ran 60-75 w bulbs. Lights that stay on for long periods like stairways & halls were the first to get CFL bulbs. When we've already been doing that, what's left?

I hate to think what it'll cost to fuel my truck when I get it back. Letting the truck sit is false economy... bad things happen to vehicles that are not used. It's a PITA to move my stuff from one vehicle to another, but I try to drive the CTD one day a week, just to keep it exercised. This has been a good plan, since I started doing it.
